Progressed Sun AND Moon crossing Ascendant-Descendant Axis at roughly the same time

I'm rather new to looking at progressions, so any analysis anyone could contribute about this would help.

Over the past year or thereabouts, I've had both the luminaries cross the horizon on my progressed chart. The Moon crossed my ascendant in Leo, and the Sun crossed my descendant in Aquarius. As my seventh-house natal Venus is closely conjunct to my descendant, the progressed Sun conjuncts natal Venus as well, and trines my natal Moon in eleventh-house Gemini. Progressed Moon thus sextiles natal Moon.

As Venus is conjunct to itself on my Solar Return chart for this year (and conjunct my SR midheaven), I have reason to suspect that it's being profoundly activated by these progressed aspects. (Natal Sun is fifth-house Capricorn, within two degrees of the cusp of the sixth house.)

Also, how might these phenomena relate to the transits of Pluto and Uranus this year, conjunct and square, respectively, to my natal Sun?

I'm not quite sure what to make of all this as of yet, so anything you might be able to contribute about this is much appreciated. Natal/Progressed and Solar Return charts are enclosed.
