Venus Semi Square Neptune...Double Whammy!

I know that Venus square Neptune is the ultimate synastry red flag, but I understand that a semi square is weaker. Also, since it is a double whammy, I'm wondering if it's karmic?

Does anyone have any insight on how Venus Semi Square Neptune in synastry might affect a couple when both have it? Should I run while i still have the chance?
