So Much Exaltation Pressure Here. Can I Fulfill It?

My chart is a hot pressure cooker. But for what? ... Something brilliant, riveting and out in the open? Or curled into itself, revealed only to its inner audience?

Leo Sun one degree of the Ascendant, in its own sign, ruling my chart. Hot pressure to shine.

10 degrees away, Leo Venus ruling the Midheaven, where an exalted Moon sits in Rohini's house ... 13 degrees and 13 minutes from a snarling but comfortable Rahu in Taurus ...

An optimistic, incisive Mercury in Virgo stimming quietly, full of wise, hopeful expressiveness ... buffered by a salty but exalted Saturn in the 3rd ...

A Brahmin Vedic Astrologer and famous author, who desperately didn't want me to spread my wings and fly away from him said about my chart "the only good thing here is Jupiter."

How could he have said it? And what's the truth?

Dealing with the immense pressure of my chart, the lofty aims whispered by sterling astronomical gods in their spinning, circular orbits...

What does it MEAN?! ;P

And how does that slow drag of Mars in Cancer put a wet blanket in the mix? Yes, my mother died young.

It’s your chart; you are obviously not a novice.
Why don’t you open up this discussion by sharing what you think the symbolism os the chart might mean and what the truth is for you. Only you would know that.

OK. Good opportunity for exploration...

What I FEEL is a strong personal desire to shine and express myself as a speaker and teacher, with artistic overtones. I feel compelled to share some great spiritual truth with wider audiences.

I feel challenged by the many ways Mars in Cancer has partnered with Rahu to deal major blows to me personally. In Cancer ... Mars is weakest when trying to create the solid bonds that form the basis of deep social relationships. Give and take. "Having your back." I feel utterly alone in many ways, although that's abated some as I've matured and escaped from the abuse Rahu tends to deal.

I do feel a teenie bit challenged by the instability Rahu lends to my heavens, and Rahu's vague obsession with attaining status ... although watery Jupiter near Ketu has forced me to shed all of my worldly obsessions and has taken almost everything from me that I've clung too tightly to.

My sun, moon and Jupiter are also at odds, and it adds thick layers of confusion and "what to do" energy that require meditation and strong personal discipline... Would a 7th house emphasis relieve some of that added pressure to my sun at the t-square-tip?

I feel like I've taken on too much this life! And that the only way I'll ever be able to have everything I desire is to simplify ... move somewhere less demanding and quiet and form a solid relationship with someone who desires some of the same things in life. (If that's even possible?)

I find it interesting that by your interpretation, most of the “exaltation” “pressure” is either balanced or cancelled out.

Is that a correct, generalized assessment? What stands out for you, among the above?

Looks like you're using the Aldebaran ayanamsa, which is popular with Modernistic siderealists. Have you posed this question at Solunars, which is strictly sidereal? Most of us here are tropicalists; and, although I believe both tropical and sidereal work, if applied properly, it does require a change in "angle of view".
