Concerns about Working Abroad

Hello everyone! I've recently been thinking about moving and working abroad in Florence Italy and decided to look at my Relocation chart. I notice that it's right on my Venus/AC Line. In my natal chart Venus is the lest aspect [ Venus Sextile Moon about 1 degree) and from what I've gathered, being in an area where your planet is lest aspect is the most beneficial [lol Sorry if I didn't write that right].

However what concerns me is I have some squares hitting my 10th and Saturn in 2nd House.

Does Saturn in the 2nd house mean I'll have a hard time with making money? I'm not to concern with 'getting rich' but rather make enough to make a living.

I have Mercury square Mid-heaven so this might be an indication that I'll have communication problems?

I'm a bit new with Relocation astrology, so I'll appreciate as much help as I can get!

There's no logic to that at all. You're relocated chart is simply your natal chart with different Houses. Your Planets will not change their relationships with each other.

Don't know. It would depend on the Ruler and Almuten of the 2nd House, the Part of Fortune, Dispositor Part of Fortune, Saturn's Dispositor and a few other things.

I have Mercury square Mid-heaven so this might be an indication that I'll have communication problems?

Normally that is an indicator of excellent communication. Not sure why you would think it would indicate problems.

Have you tried the astrocartography on astro.com, go to free horoscopes, then look to right. Astrocartography works and there is forum on AW that covers this and on astro.com on interactive, travel they offer astrocartography/world maps, which has its place and explains which planets rules lat and long where you relocate to and how this will affect you in this location. It is my personal opinion that relocated ‘birth charts’ don’t work, there are plenty of other techniques available.

Relocated birth charts are more or less astrocartography, whereby all your natal planets are stretched out over the globe and uses lat and long to discover best place to live. Apparently relocated birth charts does something similar (but not as widely used or known as astrocartography) whereby especially over the Angles could bring a planet out of 12, 3 6 or 9th to become much more active

Hi Kiko01,

I wouldn' worry about the Saturn 2nd and the square to the MC too much. In my experience, the first thing to look at in relocation is planets conjunct the angles. This takes precedence. The fact that you have Venus conjnct ASC and your Venus is not afflicted would suggest that you will have Venusian experiences at that place. So, depending on the kind of work you do, this could be good or bad (for example, you could get lazy and unenterprising).

I'm also interested in relocating abroad for work (in England), but I'm more concerned about when or if that's a possibility for me. I guess posting in the Progressions forum would be better suited to my question?

progressed planets/charts are more 'internal' changes, evolvements rather than 'events or external' matters. I don't read prog charts as stand alones it's more important to see where these planets are moving in the natal chart

Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars especially are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

What's the difference between Transits and Progressions?
“Transits are the planets currently orbiting in the sky and the relationships they form to each other and additionally, to your chart. Transits happen for everyone. They're important and effect you personally when they contact a planet or point in your chart. Transits represent outside energy, things happening outside yourself. They describe external events and your responses to them. Progressions, however, move very slowly and are a natural progression of your original birth chart. The events and emotions they describe are part of you, deeply ingrained in your psyche, internal, and psychological. And as they form aspects, these inner feelings start to become more important and central to your life”

The most important of progressed planets is of course, sun & moon and then upto mars, as the outer planets hardly move by progression. Now like with transits, solar arcs --- it's what these progressed planets are doing NOW by mathematical aspect to your natal planets and Angles that is ultimately important.

Also I would take this opportunity to mention there is a ‘plethora’ of information in every forum top, called 'stickys' which cover, explain in great depth what each forum is all about, plus we have an Education forum for further research..
