Hi Mia,
LOL. Another fine day in Liverpool then? :|
(not that I find it funny but Liverpool is notorious in England for this sort of thing).
I have relatives in Liverpool and they have even had cars on fire in the street. :?
I will try and interpret this horary for you, but I will be using the technique that John Frawley advises in his book, 'The Horary Textbook'. According to Frawley, the time at which the question was thought of by the inquirer is not the most significant moment for interpretation, but the moment at which the person who is to interpret the chart receives and understands the question and then decides to cast a horary upon it.
This seems to make sense to me.
I recieved, understood and decided to try and interpret your question at 22:54 on the same night you asked it, in Blackpool, so this is the data, according to Frawley's way, I will be using for interpretation.
As I am primarily concerned with traditional astrology at the moment I will only be using the seven visible planets and considering the four 'major' aspects.
I am bearing in mind that your question is whether or not your car is going to be safe from theft or damage in light of recent incidents.
Here's the chart, for the time and place in which I received the question:
Libra rises upon a late degree, and far from a late degree meaning that the chart is not fit for interpretation, it is simply a consideration meaning that the answer to your question is probably already known - that is to say, you are already aware that the car is probably not safe Mia, and that in light of previous incidents you have every reason to worry about the safety of your car. In short, you already know that your car may be at risk again. So a late ascendant does not mean the chart cannot be interpreted, but rather reflects at the outset that the answer to the question may already be known.
Something of the nature of the question itself is always symbolised by the ascendant, and this being Libra, shows how this is an issue concerning that which is fair, justified or legal - or in this case
unfair,
unjustified and
illegal. Your sense of fairplay, order and calm has of course been violated.
The late ascendant may also show how you feel that the law may not be much benefit to you in this situation.
To find your significator I look to the 7th cusp, because to me, the interpreter, you are 'another person'. The 7th cusp is ruled by Aries, making you Mars, and very appropriately Mars is placed in the 2nd house of 'moveable possessions', reflecting that your primary concern within this issue is your car. You are significated by Mars because this reflects the anger, frustration and offence that you feel about over the issue. Also Mars in the 2nd is also a nice description of your car as a 'moveable possession' as motor powered objects are beneath the influence of Mars.
Mars in the first degree of Gemini is peregrine, meaning that it has no essential dignity in this position, however it is better than being detrimented, and I think that this shows about how you are in despair at the minute and worried, in that you feel at a loss in not knowing what to do to protect your car from thieves and/or vandals. You have little power to act, you are somewhat helpless, after all, you can't sit outside and watch your car 24/7.
Your car, will be symbolised by the 8th cusp, because this is the turned 2nd from the 7th (possesion of Mia's).
The ruler of the 8th cusp, being in Taurus is Venus, so Venus in Capricorn is in the 3rd represents your car. Venus seems to suggest that this car of yours is rather attractive, perhaps why it is of such interest to thieves, and Capricorn would also give an air of sophistication. It's placement in the 3rd house is descriptive in that this is the house of short journeys, roads and local travel, which shows the function of the object.
Venus is also peregrine in this position, it has no essential dignity, showing how the safety of this object hangs in the balance. To be peregrine is better than to be essentially detrimented, but I wonder how well secured your car is? Venus' position being peregrine shows that your car lacks power to act, so how does it lack the power to ward offenders away from it? In short, it is described as vulnerable.
Interesingly the thieves/enemies are also represented by Venus. The 7th is the house of thieves and enemies, and the turned 7th house from the 7th brings us to the late ascendant in Libra, representing the thieves.
The fact that the enemies as well as the car are shown by the same significator, reflects that the car and the enemies are inextricably connected - they have their eye on your car, they already see it as theirs and they as it's. However, Venus' position shows that they are also peregrine, they have no power to act, they have been chased away and the police called, there is little they can do for the time being, but the fact that the car and them are one and the same seems to suggest that they will bide their time, they have already tied themselves to it.
Interestingly also is that the police are signified by Venus. The 6th house is the house of persons who work on our behalf, and the turned 6th from the 7th is the 12th cusp in Libra, making the officers who came to help you Venus. So this shows how they are concerned with and connected to both the car and the people who broke into it, by having the same significator, however it also shows, Venus being peregrine, that they have little power to act, there isn't much they can do about it (no suprises there with the efficacy of the police then  ).
I always look at the Moon last, as a sort of round up or summary to the reading, so before considering the Moon's position I will try and consider the aspects to/from Venus (car/enemies).
What interests me is that Mercury (natural ruler of thieves) applies a sextile to Venus. Mercury is in the 5th house of pleasure and excitement, and as Mercury is patron of travel, this would seem to describe 'joy riders'. I believe that this aspect shows the thieves having another go at your car. I further support this idea because Mercury is the ruler of the 9th house of 'learned people', and to steal a car requires specialist knowledge that wouldn't be known to everyone. The 9th is your turned 3rd, hence your vehicle and 'means of travel'.
I wouldn't worry about this too much though because Mercury is in it's sign of detriment and is very badly dignified, so I think that this means that there is every chance of catching them red handed or at least things going wrong for them and them being caught. Mercury is ruler of thieves but when in detriment he makes a lousy one.
For timing, Mercury has 1 degree and 41 minutes of arc to travel before perfecting contact with Venus. Mercury is in a mutable sign and a succedent house, so we would use a middle amount of time for timing this. I am wondering whether I should be considering this query on a scale of days, weeks and months or weeks, months and years, but I suppose that days, weeks and months would make more sense here, so I would imagine that this other attempt upon taking your car for a joy ride is destined to happen in just under two weeks time. So be on the look out then.
Then again, depending upon how brazen these individuals are the time scale to use might even be in terms of hours, days, and weeks, in which case it may be worth being vigilant in just under two days, but I would opt for weeks, because it would be quite foolish to try again so soon after they have been seen.
The Moon is at 28 degrees Scorpio. The void of course Moon is, similar to the late ascendant, an indication of how you feel that there is little respite in this situation, and that you already know that your car is unsafe. There is little you can do to change the situation. It is interesting that the Moon is in the radical 2nd house, highlighting property and possesions, but remember that the 2nd is your turned 8th house of 'other peoples resources' highlighting your fear that you are unable to keep your property out of the hands of others.
In summary I would say, that you already know the answer to your question - that the car is generally unsafe, that is not as secure as it should be, that you have little power to act and that they will probably come for another go. However, when they do it is unlikely that they will be successful, and if you are vigilant they can be caught when they make a blunder. Mercury is in it's detriment - they are not very sophisticated thieves so you can outwit them but your car is still at risk from damage.
I hope that you can rest and not worry too much in this situation. I hope that your car remains secure and that no harm comes to it.
I await your feedback to tell me where you feel I have gone right or wrong in this reading.
Thankyou for the opportunity to have a look at the chart, and any feedback you have to give will help me to learn. Questions welcome.
Goodnight Mia, hope you could get some rest as I am sure you must have been angry and worried about your car.
