Nodal axis in synastry

Hey guys. I was wondering if this has any meaning:

My nodal axis is Aquarius/Leo in houses 2/8
My boyfriend's axis is Taurus/Scorpio in houses 11/5

Is there any meaning behind the fact that our nodes are in fixed signs in the succedant houses. My nodes are in the houses that correspond to his nodes and his are in the ones corresponding to mine

Taurus - 2
Leo - 5
Scorpio - 8
Aquarius - 11

there could be significance if the nodes are square each other in degrees

As a colleague above stated, the most salient point of the presenting data would be the two sets of nodes in synastry forming a grand cross. This would pull the nodes two ways, resulting in disintegration, or resolution/healing of the nodal conflicts involved.
