Moon square Uranus is one of the tightest aspects in my natal chart; the Moon is applying towards Uranus and the aspect perfects in less than a degree. Both planets are also conjunct major angles, so I am particularly interested in the development of this thread.
I personally believe that an aspect can manifest in one of many different ways, depending upon the sign and house placements of the planets involved in the aspect as well as the house or houses each planet rules. I have not studied parans much in depth, yet I have read that they are quite helpful in determining possible manifestations of a particular aspect; fixed stars conjunct a planet involved in the aspect can lend their influence as well.
Therefore, I believe it is quite possible that my natal Moon-Uranus square manifests quite differently than yours, yet the keyword that always comes to my mind when I see this aspect in a char is
uncontrollable emotions. Now if you have Saturn aspecting the Moon as well, or if your natal Moon is located in a more reserved sign such as Capricorn, the influence of this aspect can certainly be mitigated; however, if this is the tightest aspect to your Moon, its influence will most likely be strong.
The house positions of the Moon and Uranus are almost switched in your chart compared to mine; I have the Moon conjunct my Ascendant and Uranus conjunct the Midheaven in my tenth house instead of my ninth house. Although the Moon is certainly an important influence in the natal chart, I think it's likely that you will more strongly identity with Uranus than the Moon since this planet greatly colors how you perceive the world; while an individual with the Moon conjunct the Ascendant perceives the world primarily through his or her emotions, Uranus on your Ascendant will give you some attributes of the sign Aquarius, which is generally more intellectual and impersonal than emotional, although Aquarians generally care greatly about humanity--perhaps just not as much about specific individuals. This is a basic interpretation, and again, other factors in your chart would give you a completely different way of perceiving and interacting with the world; it is not my intention to stereotype you or a particular planetary placement in any way, although I believe we are all guilty of doing so occasionally. Uranus is regarded to be an individualistic influence, and since it is conjunct an angle, it will most likely be the stronger planet in the aspect unless the Moon is in the sign of its rulership (Cancer) or exaltation, or has dignity by triplicity, term, or face.
So perhaps you can describe how you feel this aspect has manifested in your life, and then we could possibly give you astrological--and non-astrological--advice.
Uranus is a difficult--almost impossible--planet to contain, so I do not believe the solution in managing this aspect is to completely suppress the unpredictable and somewhat eccentric nature of Uranus; this would almost be impossible for you, because it is such a part of your identity (Uranus conjunct the Ascendant).
You've probably seen this page before while browsing through the main site, but just in case you haven't, here's a link to a description about
