I have my chart, but when I do it as recommended its different!
why?

the charts are different because western uses the tropical zodiac and vedic, the sidereal zodiac. they are otherwise different like the catholic and anglican, or the methodist and lutheran, churches are different. western and vedic have some different underlying assumptions and beliefs. read up a bit about western and about vedic and you will see.

If you create two natal charts for todays date and time at your location
using SIDEREAL option for one and TROPICAL option for the other
you shall notice that similarly the two charts are different
if we focus on the MOON
we find that

TROPICAL Chart DEGREE OCCUPIED BY THE MOON
is different from
SIDEREAL chart DEGREE OCCUPIED BY MOON

Notice that Tropical Chart Aries Moon is in a late degree of Aries
whereas Sidereal Chart Aries Moon is in an early degree of Aries

AND SO
both Sidereal and Tropical measurement
finds transiting Moon is in ARIES
but not for long

FOR ANOTHER APPROXIMATELY TEN HOURS ONLY

After ten hours or so, Tropical Moon shall be in Taurus
while Sidereal Moon remains in Aries
BECAUSE
there is a minimum difference of 20° up to a maximum of approximately 24°
between TROPICAL AND SIDEREAL MEASUREMENT

and so
ANY planet at 0° OF any TROPICAL SIGN
is SIDEREALLY between approximately 6° - 10° to a maximum 24° of the PREVIOUS SIGN
dependent on the ayanamsha

Sidereal location of Moon may be confirmed BY VISUAL observation of local skies
as it traverses Aries constellation
