Astrology Questions.

So we've got 3 questions on Astrology. Looking to see if anyone can help.

1) The Lucky and Unlucky cardinal directions for the Chinese Zodiac Signs?
(Online we've seen tons of sites, and have lots of contradictory answers. And not sure why that is.)

2) Lucky and Unlucky cardinal directions and colors for the Eastern Zodiac Signs ? (Can not find any straight forward answers on the colors, and nothing at all on the Eastern Side.)

and

3) Hours the Eastern Zodiac Signs rule over? Or is that purely a thing only in Chinese / Japanese / Vietnam Astrology?

By Eastern zodiac, do you mean the Chinese zodiac specifically? Or do you mean Vedic? Vedic astrology uses the same zodiac as Western, just maps it a little differently.

We have a Chinese astrology board. That's the best place to post if you want answers specifically about Chinese astrology, though that board does not get much traffic.

This site is mainly for Western astrology. We also have a little used Chinese astrology section and a more heavily used Vedic astrology section, but nothing outside of that. If your questions are not about Western or Vedic astrology, your chances of getting usable answers here are slim, unfortunately.

Both. Can't really get a set, non-conflicting site. For anything regarding directions that are lucky or unlucky. For Eastern Source (Vedic and Chinese), and it's non-existent on Western Astrology.

But yeah. Would like to see how those 3 types of charts correlate.

As well as what Vedic and Western Astrologers state is lucky or unlucky for each of their signs. (Have to build a correspondence chart for homework, but it's impossible to do, when everywhere you go, you get different answers.)

There's no such thing in Western astrology. I don't know about Vedic. That would be a question for the folks who post on our Vedic board.

My guess is that Vedic astrology doesn't have lucky/unlucky things by sign either, since it uses the same zodiac as Western. Vedic astrology only uses signs as a way to locate planets in a chart and to determine the relative strength of a planet. The same is true in traditional Western astrology. The Western astrology you're probably familiar with, if you're familiar with it at all, is modern Western astrology, and a very watered down version of it at that.

There are other ways to show luck. I developed a system about 15 years ago that I used to increase my spouse's chance at getting winning numbers in the lottery. He has more general luck than I do.

In the lottery you are competing with many many thousands of people who also had luck at that time, and so your luck has to be better than all those people. Things just fall in place for him no matter what. His company goes bankrupt but he just happens to leave the company for a better job 2 months prior. He gets a prime job overseas because he just happens to call at the right time. He does work his tail off, but at each moment, something super happens to just fall in his lap. His sister is intensely jealous. She has very little luck.

And none of this is based on specific zodiac signs. It's not like, this place is unlucky for Capricorns but lucky for Libras. OP asked about zodiac signs in particular.

As for There being "No Lucky Directions in Vedic Astrology". We've seen some.

And look at their directions. They give different ones.

It's less about "You'll be luckier here", then "the energies are more harmonious, and having things in this direction / facing this direction" have a better flow of energy for your sign. A place where the energies of the universe are more aligned, and benefic for you on a personal level.

It's not luck as in "you'll get rich, and s3x will rain from the sky onto your lap from your favorite celebrity ,and everything is going to be epic" kind of luck.

That means there's no consensus.

Plenty of that turns up in astrology, all forms of astrology. When there's no consensus, it cannot be taken as fact. Even when there is consensus, it can't necessarily be taken as fact... in astrology, there's an exception to pretty much every rule.
