What is an astrological planet?

It's still a MOO, whether her's or anyone else's.

From the point of view of a total skeptic, none of them are astrological planets.

Mm, the Sun and sometimes the Moon are viewed as causes of certain sublunar events. They just call it meteorology and seasonal biology instead of astrology, even though the ancients did not intend anything more than cosmobiology for astrology.

So, Traditionalists are cosmobiologists, and astrology is a purely Modernistic phenomenon. Makes sense, actually.

So, no need to distinguish them as two types of astrology, because one is cosmobiology. Unless Vedic is astrology, astrology can be defined as a modern-day, nonmaterialistic, reinterpretation of cosmobiology. And, therefore, only an astrologer can determine the astrological meanings of astrological planets, and which planets to use for astrological purposes.

Since this is "Astrologers' Community" cosmobiologists are visitors here, mostly telling astrologers that astrology is an unauthorized version of cosmobiology.

According to Hellenistic astrologers, there are two types of astrology, one is astrology proper that is part of nature, and then there is another art with the name of ''astrology''. See the second paragraph here http://penelope.uchicago.edu/Thayer/E/Roman/Texts/Ptolemy/Tetrabiblos/1A*.html#2

So you can have an astrological planet, and an ''astrological'' planet. Most astrologers for example agree that hypothetical planets are ''astrological'' planets.

Any planet or measured point that affects the Magnetic Field Matrix in such a way as to discernably resonate with our own, personal magnetic fields, is an astrological influence. Since the Matrix permeates the known Universe, that includes both the Outermosts, the distant stars, and, the Earth's magnetic field as well.

Don't magnetism also work based on size/distance ratio?

It's often said that, on the "Astral plane", distance doesn't matter. I think the term "Astral plane" refers to the Matrix. Some can sense it on the emotional level, which is termed "psychic intuition".

Have you given any thought to the Hindu concept known as the Yugas? They appear to be separate from astrology, although there have been attempts to link them. A LOT of disagreement over the timing of the Yugas.

What do they have to do with OP? You know my historical position based on the Book of Genesis, do I need to repeat it over again?

Something about a second Sun, binary to our own, and the real cause of Earth's wobble. In that case it would be an astrological planet in Traditionalistic terms.
