I don't think it is helpful or realistic to narrow things down to such a small window, like next Tuesday or Wednesday. 
It is distracting and sets up lots of false alarms and makes it incredibly likely to feel let down for the rest of the year, if you don't meet your soulmate by early next week...
Don't allow yourself to buy into those 'absolute' predictions too heavily.
Just feel optimistic and enthusiastic and put yourself out there socially.
BUT ABOVE ALL---stay focused and committed to your CLASSES. You are not there to find your girlfriend--you are there to learn and move towards life success, which in turn, sets you up for a life partner.
If you meet a sweet girl but flunk out of school, it will be a big mess.
