Does he care about relationship?

One of my friends that I really care about has been treating me differently and i dont know where I stand in the relationship. He is being very distant and not communicating to me, even when I flat out tell him you ignore me and then wonder why I dont say Hi first. That happened because I saw him out, havent talked to him even after saying can you talk to me when you can and then I bump into him a week later at same place and he says “Oh now you say Hi to me” like WHAT! Even last night saw him again only talked cause we bumped into each other but no? communication? We just stare at each other. I’m at the point of wondering if he even CARES to be friends. He was so sweet to me and I appreciated him a lot but him distancing himself is so confusing. He doesnt reply my texts. I dont know why we even stare at each other ???? anyway this is the chart. I would love some clarity. Thank you.

Reception between you ad Jup and him as Merc is nil. So I am not seeing much connection between you in terms of feeling, friendly or otherwise.
It may best find clarity by looking at what is right in front of you: actions speak louder than words, thoughts, anything.
