I Do Not Relate to My Natal Chart

Can somebody on here please do a quick read of my chart? When I interpret it, I feel confused, like someone has switched my chart with my sister's (Ha ha!) because I do not see myself in my natal chart.

I'm aware that personality is made up of many components, not solely astrology, and the natal chart simply shows that I may have a proclivity to these traits. But I thought I'd be somewhere in there!

Maybe, of course, I'm just not seeing these qualities in myself. Or these traits will be apparent in a different season of my life.

What are the qualities you don't see in yourself that you think your natal chart says you should have?

There are lots of ways a natal chart can manifest. And your birth chart doesn't describe your personality so much as it describes factors that shape your personality. How you shape your personality in response is up to you. There are some commonalities, but every birth chart is unique.

Hi Edie. What is your understanding of the sign Aquarius? This would be a good place to start since you have Sun, Moon and Mars in this sign, with Sun closely conjunct Uranus near the ascendant.

Miquar, I understand the sign Aquarius to be individualistic, rebellious, humanitarian, perhaps stoic/distant, boundary-pushing. Not quite me! But there are other traits I see.

Would never call myself rebellious -- I enjoy rules -- but do definitely rebel in gentle or inconspicuous ways.
-A definite Aquarius thing is my love for humanity as a whole, and then a dislike for almost everybody once I get to know them!
-Popular, but not many friends by my own choosing.
-When someone comes across as attention-seeking, they lose my respect and I shut down.

Things I don't think I see in my chart:
-- Careful not to hurt someone's feelings. Extreme politeness, usually agreeable. Withholds opinions.
-- Health as a top priority.
-- The majority of passions and career are creative (cooking, performing arts, ceramics, comedy, etc.)
-- Horrible at hiding anger/frustration.

——The ‘careful not to hurt other’s feelings’ part can be seen in the Neptune/Mercury exactly conjunct your Cap ascendant.

Neptune/Mercury is ultra sensitive and compassionate and will be extra compliant and empathetic, when dealing with others.


—-the ‘health as a top priority ‘ can be seen in the only square in the chart.

When looking at a natal chart, the squares and oppositions will show the priorities as they are the difficulties/problems in the natives life.

You only have two squares, both the Pluto in the 10th, originating in the 1st house, of the physical body. The Moon, rules the 6th house of health. So these 2 squares affect your career aspirations as they show the need to protect one’s emotional and physical health. Are you male or female?

[I ask because the Moon/Venus squaring Pluto, with Cancer on the 6th, might indicate issues with female reproductive system and hormonal balance etc. [glandular secretions, hormones, ovaries, menstrual cycle.]

----The Moon squaring Pluto is possibly indicative of your issue with anger, frustration. It can be seething and underlying and then eventually breaks free. I would think you could be a really good actor, performer as you can create moods, atmosphere, are charismatic and unique.

It seems that you do express all three of the signs which are emphasised in the chart, with Capricorn bringing out the civility of Aquarius and Pisces bringing out the idealism of Aquarius, but these signs inhibiting the potential forthrightness and gregariousness of Aquarius. But as the Capricorn and Pisces (plus Moon square Pluto) sensitivities become less inhibiting, the Aquarius in you will have more room for expression, and I imagine an understated sincerity is already blossoming in you.
