Trump supporters are still clinging to false hopes that the Election will be overthrown.

Some are calling these Republican attempts to discredit the Vote of the People, "Sedition".

Ironically, it's almost all being done by Republican members of the House, and Republican officials in Red States, who were themselves elected by the same voting system that gave the win to Biden.

It is totally clear that Trump's and his fans' fantasy about retaining the White House was never about democracy. It was about overturning a free and fair election under the guise of unsubstantiated conspiracy theories and the oh-so-pious statement that Trump deserves his day in court.

Well, he's had his day in court, including the Supreme Court.

No dice.

His latest tweets? "OVERTURN"

He's not arguing now that he won the election, but that he's ready for a political coup or junta.

The U.S. Military is on record early on, saying it wouldn't involve itself in anything involving the Election. Maybe Military Intelligence knew it would come down to this despicable level.

It's almost unthinkable for this country. I'm still not certain Trump would go that far, even if he could.

Well, if he could he probably would.

Here's a cautionary note though:

Trump's Attorney General, William Barr, has recently added death by both firing squad and poison gas to the list of possible ways to execute those on federal death row.

“....Motion for Leave to File a Bill of Complaint...”

However for now, I would like to point out to everyone that:

The case is still pending! :smile:

It was only the “...Motion for Leave...” that was rejected
and the case could be accepted
if it were re-filed

as a “...Motion to File a Bill of Complaint....”

It would be a safe bet that the Republican Party officials in Arizona would be hiding under their desks, surrounded by police protection, if real violence erupted.

How is their call to arms, advocating violent resistance to the legally sanctioned results of the Vote of the People, not seditious?

The "Red Scare" USED to be fear of the U.S.S.R. and Chinese Communists.

That's what the Vietnam War was supposed to be about--that's how it was sold, and BOTH the Liberals and the Conservatives bought it.

The Iraq War was also sold on a lie. Then it became fear of "terrorism".

The powers that be need to keep us afraid and divided.

Don't buy into it.

What you see is what you have: The most powerful military in world history, solemnly pledged NOT to turn on its own nation, and enable a dictatorship to destroy our Democratic-Republic under the Constitution.

But it WILL protect us from ALL enemies, both foreign and domestic, including the Chinese AND any violent, radical, domestic, right-wing or left-wing assault on this nation.

That's because it HAD no merits to rule on in the first place. The lower courts had already so decided.

The "Texas lawsuit" was just a jumble of old, unproven allegations in a new wrapper.
