OSHA has the authority to enforce the use of protective gear in the workplace.
The question is, does it have the authority to force a specific kind of protective gear?
In other words, OSHA can enforce the use of hard hats
but, can it force a specific brand of hard hat?

If it can’t
then, employers have the autonomy to meet OSHA’s safety requirements
by whatever means that fulfill OSHA’s requirement.
Which means, if the goal is to protect workers from the SARS virus
then a company can have their workers take regular doses of hydroxychloroquine
or ivermectin.
It’s far better

Santa Fe County Sheriff Adan Mendoza noted that 500 rounds of ammunition
a mix of blanks, dummy rounds and suspected live rounds
were found while searching the set of the Western “...Rust...”

I think there are some safety issues that need to be addressed
by the industry and possibly by the state of New Mexico...”
Detectives have recovered a lead projectile
they believe the actor fired last week.
Testing is being done to confirm
whether the projectile taken from Souza’s shoulder
was fired from the same long Colt revolver used by Baldwin.

The FBI will help with ballistics analysis.
Two other guns were seized
including a single-action revolver that may have been modified
and a plastic gun that was described as a revolver, officials said.

Souza, who was standing behind Hutchin
told investigators there should never be live rounds present near the scene.

but that’s up to the testing. But right now

Gutierrez Reed told a detective
that no live ammo was ever kept on the set.

After the shooting
Halls took the gun to Gutierrez
and said he saw five rounds in the gun
at least four of them were dummy rounds
indicated by a hole on the side and a cap on the round.

Halls said there was also a casing in the gun
that did not have the cap
and did not have the hole indicating it was a dummy, the warrant said.
Halls “...advised the incident was not a deliberate act...”
according to the warrant
which was issued Wednesday
in order to search a truck that was used on the set.

I'd say he played a significant role in the incident.

The loss of life requires someone be charged as being responsible.

Baldwin shot the gun when it was not required to for that particular scene.

He is responsible as well
because protocol was not followed and it was his movie.

Baldwin is trying to place the blame on everyone but himself.
He refuses to take any percent of the blame.
Doesn't that sound like someone who feels he is guilty?
