White House
Predicts All Driving Jobs Will Be Automated
A recent report by the White House predicts that
all logistical employment will disappear due to automation.

This issue really bothers me. Instead of "driverless" cars, we should ensure that all cars be equipped with comprehensive backup radar to prevent accidents. Older models retrofitted, newer ones standard. It would be worth subsidies to make it happen, and most of the technology already exists, and is being used to some extent. The payoff would be in lower medical costs for accidents and continued employment for transportation jobs. There is a LONG time-lag for when driverless technology is reliable and affordable. Backup technology is ready to utilize.

If we can have driverless cars
then we can begin to end toxic road pollutants
by marketing cars that are solar powered

Obama
says
he could've beaten Trump
Confidence or arrogance

False confidence and arrogance, in my opinion.

He campaigned HARD for the Dems. And he urgently expressed his desire, that the voters go to the polls to support HIM, the current President and his policies, by pulling for Hillary. He campaigned hard in the swing states. And they went for Trump. That tells me he is relying upon his Leonian 'False' confidence.

Two major fusion projects with international cooperation. One in Britain, projected to begin producing electricity in 2033. Big Oil won't like it (understatement!). Trump isn't concerned with air pollution, or with getting off fossil fuels, as far as his stated opinions are concerned. Haven't heard anything about his stance on fusion power.

"It is a dimension as vast as space
and as timeless as infinity.
It is the middle ground between light and shadow,
between science and superstition,
and it lies between the pit of man's fears
and the summit of his knowledge.
This is the dimension of imagination.
It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone.”
