transiting Saturn trines - good or bad?

I`m currently having Saturn trine my Virgo Ascendant transit. Saturn is transiting his own sign and my natal 5th house.

As fas as I know a transiting trine means "sudden removal of obstacles".

How do I determine if I could expect a success in what I`ve been trying to achieve for a while (concerning my health and other 1st hs matters), or a total denial of all my efforts and a defeat?
I`m really worried and hopeless about it right now.

Is the final outcome of the transit determined by the energy of the planets involved +houses ruled by them alone (Saturn-Mercury in my case) or are there other factors to consider?
