Instrumental talent indicated in chart

I was wondering what planets rule specific talents in music? for instance Venus in Taurus is voice, Mars in Leo is big hands for keyboard, and so on. I have Sun, Venus, Mercury in Gemini but I play the drums, should I switch to keyboard? I'm in a band as a drummer but I secretly want to play the keyboard. I have one I just don't practice. Can someone tell me what to look for please?

Do not let astrology rule your life, if you want to change to keyboards - DO IT :whistling:
You have quite a complex chart with Grand Square and Kite formations.

You have calculated your chart using the default on astro.com of placidus and I use Equal House system and am a modern astrologer. Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.

Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'

Kite

“Whenever a person has a kite in his chart, he is considered to be more likely to be successful in his endeavours because the opposition will give him the push to go out and conquer the obstacles that are presented to him, and the sextiles will give him a little bit more harmony once he has achieved his goals.”

Notice everything above the horizon is *retrograde* and this suggests delays until mid life for recognition

Career options are assessed by MC any planets conjunct, where the ruler of MC is placed, it’s aspects, then 2nd house ‘how you earn your money’ and planets there, ruler of cusp and where it’s placed, then 6th house of ‘type of work you do’ any planets there and how they are aspected.

Researching rulers of houses will help you understand more where I joining the dots so to speak

Thanks for all the links it going to take me awhile to get through them, I did see a few so far. I don't let astrology dictate me I was just wondering since I can't focus on one instrument anyway. Guess I don't have to anyway. Thanks again

JITW, have you ever composed music or considered it? You have that interesting stellium in fifth opposing Neptune, ruler of your second house (house of self expression) which is beneficial for composers.

Hi Re

Well I did record three songs that I wrote recently but I just made my guitar part while I sort of told the other mates what to do, though not to a tee. I just have to learn more about the bass guitar and keyboard, and that's quite about it. But I certainly am in no position to do classical pieces or scores. Just pop stuff. I do want to do composition btw. I also want to record pieces on my own on my laptop and see how that pans out. I have the software and instruments for that except I need a bass, but I could use the keys to act as a synthetic bass. Thanks for the suggestion that's really interesting the potential is in my chart because music production is awesome, I admire Brian Eno and the music producer for the Beatles especially. They made a niche for themselves. I had a teacher who was a composer he passed recently, well you should have seen his music composition book, it had instruments on top of each other and he wrote what the musician should play note for note, of who knows which instruments they were but he envisioned the music beforehand then wrote it down. I imagined he first went to a piano. I can't do that for classical music, no way! Maybe a pop rock song but not a score. I thought it was way cool though. The class laughed at me when I said "wow this is good" when looking at the notebook because it was an understatement :whistling:
