Solved: Where is my dad's wedding ring?

Here's what just happened. My dad was washing the dishes, and as he was washing the salt and pepper, he opened the salt shaker and inserted the sponge with his ring finger, and he instantly felt his wedding ring falling down into the salt shaker. He expected the ring to be inside the salt shaker, but it wasn't there.

Tomorrow is his birthday, and he's very upset about this. Now he's moving all the kitchen appliances around and frantically looking for the ring. My mom is helping him.

Where can it be?

My dad has just found it!!! Wooohooo!
It was jammed on the top of the salt shaker
