I know that it is not necessary for planets to have a connection to a chart angle for it's supposed attributes to be recognized in a person but it does seem that when they are such recognition is more likely for those connections to be seen to play out.
That is why this is one of the speculative charts for John Wayne that may be close to correct after his accomplishments are considered. Neptune for his career in make believe and his addiction to tobacco and to a lesser extent alcohol. Jupiter for his success in his career and connected to Uranus and Neptune his continuity when others careers flagged (the unusualness). The Moon sextile the MC and Uranus and trine the IC with Jupiter and Neptune (lasting connection with the public.
