As in what's my ascendant sign and degree exactly.
Please note it's very funny how the ascendant of the horary question is almost exactly opposed to my supposed natal ascendant.
Julian:
Thanks for your question. But, in my opinion, you cannot properly rectify the natal chart through a horary question chart.
Speaking now as both a long time natal chart astrologer as well as horary specialist, you must understand that the horary process is not your personal "fortune telling" instrument.
It works best in a yes or no context type of question.
Be very wary of horary questions that are whimsical in nature, such as "will I be rich and famous," will I win the lottery," "what is my real natal ascendant," "what did I do in a past life," etc. etc.
The best way to determine one's true ascendant degree is to have your natal chart rectified by a professional astrologer who has both the time and skill set in doing the job right.
It takes an astrologer with the right training and background to do such a service and yes, it will cost money.
Beware of McDonald's Hamburger internet astrology whereby the order is ready is minutes and after your burger is served, you are more likely to be hungry again ?
Instead, go for the natal chart as a "meal," versus just a snack ?
cheers,
HM
Very amusing ~ particularly in view of an earlier thread you postedAs in what's my ascendant sign and degree exactly.
Please note it's very funny how the ascendant of the horary question is almost exactly opposed to my supposed natal ascendant.
Clearly you are having fun JulianIs there anything that I can get from that?
My dad especifically took note of when I was born.
My birth data is exact by minutes and seconds.
by the wayDoes it have Leo tendencies?
I've read that before.
Also my birth time is EXACT (unless my father's wristwatch was wrong)
"[..]and yes, it will cost money[..]"
Not if you do it yourself, which is my favorite way of doing things.
Either way, rectification is time-consuming"[..]and yes, it will cost money[..]"

Two excellent books that explain much about rectification in intense detail are:

Very in depth for the studious!
Either way, rectification is time-consuming
furthermore
different astrologers often have different opinions regarding which is the precise ascendant degree of any particular chart
