Pallas squares

Hi,

My Pallas makes square with chiron, Neptune and Saturn. Can someone tell me what this means? I've read somewhere that Pallas tell us more about:

"With her spotlight on daddy's little girl, Pallas Athena will help determine how you interpret your relationship with your father, and in turn how you treat all males in general. On her negative side, Pallas Athena touches on conflict, legal battles, injustice and illnesses due to a weakened immune system."

I don't think that delineation of Pallas is very helpful. Mythologically I can see where it's coming from, but Pallas was so much more than Jupiter's daughter, let alone his "little girl." This goddess had a long history pre-dating Roman astrology, and she was recognized (in the form of Anat in the Near East) as a warrior goddess. She was generally depicted with a shield, helmet, and spear.

Did your source give real examples of people with various Pallas placements?

She was also the patron of crafts, such as weaving; and was the patron goddess of Athens. She was associated, therefore, with knowledge.

I haven't made a real study of Pallas, but my sense is that she gives a teacherly or didactic tone to what she touches. Obviously with a square, there may be a fair bit of associated tension and stress.

So think through the meanings of your planets in signs, houses, and important aspects. Then see how either your quoted sources or Pallas-as-teacher might relate to them.

I think this approach is helpful with asteroids generally. There are thousands of them, so there isn't going to be a useful cookbook for each one.

I found another source, I think this one is better.

http://www.bobmarksastrologer.com/Pallas21.2.html

When look to my chart its mostly correct. Healing profession(rehabilitation), and there are mostly obstacles at school and then I can feel me stupid!!

Pallas in the 8th House: A good placement for those engaged in healing professions, including therapists (the 8th house rules rehabilitation).
Pallas in Aries: Charges right in. If the problem needs a quick, dynamic solution, you're the person to ask.
Pallas Aspecting Saturn: The effect of Saturn, like Jupiter, is to focus on the big picture.
Pallas Aspecting Neptune: Neptune rules dreams (and illusions). The harmonious aspects (sextile and trine) between Pallas and Neptune increase imagination and are very good for artists.

Interesting that Bob Marks has a completely different take on Pallas than your first source does. Which reinforces my belief that the research on Pallas really hasn't been done.

I forgot to mention "Asteroid Goddesses" by Demetra George is a great book on the 4 major asteroids (Ceres, Pallas, Juno, Vesta) and it also discusses some of the minor ones.
