In layman’s language Dead Man's Switch = a switch which is turned on in an eventuality
where the principal operator is incapacitated – dead, missing or detained.
And once the switch is turned on, it performs what the original operator intended to :smile:
In the world of computers, a dead man’s switch is the decryption key which is used to release files.

Wikileaks has now released a massive directory 88GB of secret files to the public on their website.
But the release was unlike previous releases

This was the most ridiculous right wing drivel I have ever viewed. It was very hair brained and all over the place, no particular theme except to put down Hilary Clinton. I have no problem viewing things from either side, but this one was too disorganized.

I am a centrist and am sickened by all of this (the election). Just listen to these videos? They are brainwashing! Put the video down if watching on a phone and listen. They are not really saying anything and sometimes get quiet and mumble but you would never notice this because you are hypnotized by imagery.

Get a grip.

but also for Wikileaks staff in general.

Notice that about a third into his video statement
for the tenth anniversary of Wikileaks
Assange appeared from the embassy via a live video broadcast Assange raised a point many overlooked.
Assange mentioned Ecuador has “taken heat” for harboring Assange
and that fairness might dictate that Assange finds new shelter.

Although WikiLeaks insists Julian is alive and well
a portion of his supporters remain understandably skeptical :smile:
On Tuesday after his internet was cut off
a raid van appeared outside the Ecuadorian Embassy where Assange has been granted asylum for the last several years.
Julian Assange is possibly confined to a room within the Ecuadorian Embassy with no internet
with limited means of communicating to his associates on the outside.
It’s also possible that Assange is not even in the Embassy
and has been quietly taken into custody.
It would explain the series of unusual events leading up to and after his internet access was cut



On Saturday morning, WikiLeaks released more Podesta Emails, including Clinton’s Goldman Sachs speeches
Pamela Anderson then visited him, bringing him a vegan lunch and a book.
WikiLeaks then tweeted three cryptic messages containing 64-character codes
causing people to assume they were the dead-man’s switch (they actually file identifier hashes).
Later that day, WikiLeaks tweeted that a state party had severed Julian Assange’s internet.
A Gulfstream V aircraft took off from London after Julian Assange’s internet outage.
The plane allegedly is the same one known as the “Guantanamo Express.”
Monday morning, the Ecuadorian Embassy in London tweeted its continuing support and protection of Assange

which makes its stubborn resistance to the United States’ government demands
to hand over Julian Assange
all the more intriguing.

It's more than two years since Ecuador transferred its gold to banks
so
in less than one year
its three-year agreement is up
unless they extend it.

Interesting that Goldman Sachs seems a looming figure in 2016 election
and WikiLeaks has exposed damaging information.
So speculation is
did Kerry or Goldman Sachs threaten to retain Ecuador’s gold
thereby financially crippling the small country
if they did not take some form of action against WikiLeaks and Julian Assange?

Extraordinary sting operation
that could have been lifted from script of ‘Spooks’ episode :smile:
the plot to entrap Assange editor-in-chief of WikiLeaks
was exposed when evidence was produced
of a plot to implicate him as paid agent of Russian government.
But having failed spectacularly
the plotters then faked allegations Assange had engaged in online paedophilia.
At times sophisticated yet also ridiculously inept
the plot imploded.
But who was really behind it?
An article at The Daily Kos published 16 October 2016
about allegations by ToddAndClare
was later deleted by the author
who stated that the ‘evidence’ quoted had been fabricated.
