Let me just say i love this thread. so many nice posts. i'm seeing a lot of classics and lots of beatles, radiohead , cranberries fan. love all of them. i think to truly be a lover of music you have to have some well-trained ears to be able to listen to just about any genre of music.

i'm not going to make a stance and say these are my favorite genres, because by nxt week i may be listening to some hard rock , underground stuff or even back to classics.

but for this week these are my love...

The freshest sound I've heard in Reggae since Groundation hit the scene.
Their latest album can be heard in its entirety on youtube or commercial free at their own website.
If you like your reggae with a bit more of a rock and roll back then you probably will find these Stateside boys from California to be just what you crave

Their tune "Weight of Sound" has got full control of my brain now... it's a love song form a dude to his girlfriend that is trying to recover from attending a concert the day before. ... Been there, done that, got the "T-shirt" too.
Be usre to check out Breathe and Fire on the Horizon too...

Wonderful drone music. Great for having in the background, makes all work much more pleasant... I’ve lost count of how many times I’ve listened to these tracks and this album, it just flows so amazingly and creates such wonderful images in my mind. The first one is really sad, dramatic and never fails to give me chills, while the second one fills my soul with hope and warmth... By the way, the video for the first track isn’t chosen randomly, this album has its own history (you can read it in the description). Very unique music and most certainly not for everyone. :joyful:
