Yesterday, Wall Street went down 2,000 points from recent national news of a second wave of COVID in large regions of the US. Now with more promising results of COVID vaccine trials, will it go up like crazy again? The US is #1 in the COVID pandemic and already 20 countries surpassed China (questionable) in the number of COVID cases and deaths. Bangladesh and Belgium, but to look at a few states like Arizona and Texas look worse than recovered Europe...is scary.
Only the US had a 36% rise in weekly new cases vs. Brazil, Russia, India, the UK, Spain, Italy, Peru, Turkey and Iran. Also there's a lower rise of daily new cases in Germany, France, Chile, Mexico, Pakistan, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. I blame Americans in red states in the rural South and inland Central for wanting to end (or refuse to have) lockdowns, desperate to go to a bar, church or hair salon, and these Trump voters only care about stocks is "willing to sacrifice grandma/pa to save the economy, it's only a China flu". And update: Canada ends their travel ban, they will implement COVID screenings of all passengers entering airspace and through the US-Canadian border, they're on the right track to contain the pandemic in their country, unlike their neighbor who boost of being a global superpower shown its unbelievable and incredible weakness.
