Relocate to Houston or NYC?

Hello. I am debating whether to potentially relocate back to Houston or NYC. Both cities offered a lot, but in different ways, but my time was cut short due to natural disasters in both cities. However, I feel a little homesick living in Seattle. Spiritually, Houston was excellent and on the personal side, NYC was awesome. Could someone give me some insight as to which, if any, of these two cities would be suitable?
