This is rather synchronistic, as I was just browsing through Planet Waves' annual horoscope last night-- Parallel Worlds. Did you read The Ritual of the White Mirror? That kind of freaked me out a bit...

Yes. It was a very compelling piece, torqued my perspectives a bit.

Nice sites and thanks Arian Maverick for setting it up! I also like this site as well some are astrology related, but the rest can be interesting as well.
It's Astropro's Website of the Week. You'll even find yearly archives of sites from 1996! Here it is:
http://www.astropro.com/wow-logs.html
and an old favorite that got me even more interested in astrology was
http://www.astrowin.org/index.php
They even have a matchmaking database now which is interesting.

I am so pleased with the responses to this thread! Great websites, everyone!
EDIT: I thought I'd also post the link I shared with jenluvsblackcat on the thread Soldier...?. The site is called Group Venus and offers free astrological reports via e-mail

 Hello,
I'm moving Lyk's post of URL "Manic-Raven.com/astrology" (see below) from another board to this thread
Quote:
Jupiter Square Northern Moon's Node:
Sometimes you fail to recognize opportunities or do not understand when you should take the initiative to do something. As you evade looking for the purpose behind unpleasant experiences, your general dissatisfaction with life does not let itself be ignored. All that is necessary is for you to change directions and recognize the signs of the times. Draw consequences out of your experiences and change your attitude or your philosophy of life.
Sometimes you force yourself to continue on with things that you know are not going to work out. There are times when you are convinced of things that are not confirmed by reality, which is why you should open up and try to meet people. Also more tolerance would be beneficial in your efforts to reach your goals.

Enjoy.

Re: Your Favorite Astrology Sites
I have a site to add: www.thecosmicpath.com
It was originally co-founded, I believe, by Jan Spiller. She formed another and this is run by her ex-partner, Stephanie Azaria. She does the daily "weather", as she calls it. It is very informative, especially for beginners, and may be of special interest to those who look for the spiritual point of view on the day's aspects.

Re: Your Favorite Astrology Sites
One of my favourite sites is Friends Communities there is all sorts on here. Including a beginners Astrology course and an intermediate one that has just started. The Astrologer who teaches the lessons is really understandable. You can read the transcripts of the lessons.
Here is the link
http://www.friendscommunities.org/forumdispaly.php?=86
I have tried the link doesn't seem to work, google Friends Communities and it you should find it.

Re: Your Favorite Astrology Sites
Does anyone know some interesting links about asteroids and the Arabic parts?
I've found several links about Chiron and the Part of Fortune, but not about all the other parts, points and asteroids.
And how they operate in certain houses and under certain aspects.

I'm Libran, and I don't particularly like some aspects of Libra either, especially the shallower aspects and preoccupation with looks. I think indecisiveness can be a bane at times, but when a decision is made, I don't budge an inch (I've heard lots of complains that librans are stubborn, and contradictory statements that they yield to please others). I think both are true, but a realisation of being pushed to do against their will for the benefit of another for lengthy periods will create a typhoon (injustice to themselves).

Missa and Lynns,
As an individual native to your opposite sign, I am intrigued by these observations...would you both care to join me in the thread Astrological Prejudice and Stereotypes in General chat?

Of course no sign is perfect, but the way some astrologers seem to constantly pick up on Libran negative traits or make them up when they can't think of anything more is something that annoys me. Yes, some Libras have slightly narcistic and superficial tones, but the way this is over-emphasized is senseless. I don't see astrologers saying that all scorpios are horrible and mean people either, but when it's Libras they're talking about...
Also, even though I know several Libras I don't like too much, I seriously couldn't call them air-headed no matter how much I would want to, they're all quite intelligent (air signs...) and study in universities, even though they're exactly the persons who have those slightly superficial tones I already mentioned about. They're more the sort of people who think rationally, but lack emotions or at least seem to hide them. Luckily most of the Libras I know aren't like them, including myself.
And another thing that annoys me (yes I need to vent ) is how Libras are said to be indecisive. We're indecisive only when we don't have all the necessary information to make a decision, as Libras don't want to rush into anything but consider everything carefully. This is why Libras are excellent decision-makers, they're fair and able to see all sides, and once Libra has made up his mind he won't easily change that (as you already mentioned). I've also heard complains about Libras being stubborn, as opposite to everything most astrology-books say.
I'll probably continue this in the thread that Arian Maverick posted.

Re: Your Favorite Astrology Sites
I don't know if anyone has already mentioned this(my triple Aries placements don't have time to read the entire thread again to see if someone has already recommended this site LOL),but http://www.cosmitec-astrological-com...ty-advice.com/ is a very good one.The site is only about relationships, but let me say it has very good advice and mentions some very interesting techniques I wasn't aware of.The bad thing about it is that the whole website is like a giant labyrinth-each page you open has lots of links with interesting titles so you open link after link and eventually find yourself lost in a page that has nothing to do with what you were searching for LOL.I enthusiasthically recomment the section that has love quotes for each Sun/Moon combination. Also,it has lots of cool and FREE things for subscription.
Hope you enjoy it
Lissa
