but you see, pr*n is about presentation. it may seem "responsible" because our current commerce based society focuses on presentation - sex sells, people sell, so sex is part of how people sell themselves.. if you see what i mean in so few words
it's a heightened part of our lives because of our culture.
i logged back on to make a point about venus cazimi, and this relates..
venus is about pleasure, mars is about vigor, sexuality involves both, and i think you can see how each characteristic is, to some degree, associated with the generic sex roles.. venus is the object of desire, mars is the force and power of desire. lovers of either gender can embody either characteristic.
my point to druex -
i kinda sorta see astrology as part of a larger, integrated gestalt.. like.. you know how the native americans name the child by the first thing they see at birth.. the whole world is our natal chart.. everything is connected. busy, cosmopolitan humans don't have time for details.
a venus cazimi, imo, may have a "profound aesthetic sensibility" eg. in the practice of lovemaking may have innate, intrinsic aptitudes for creating a pleasing experience. maybe not.. like you say "look at the whole chart" i say "look at the whole life, the whole of existence is the ultimate chart", so your cazimi or other features may translate and manifest more in some circumstances and arrangements then others, which is why i think astrology is worth learning but not worth placing above other things.
i was going to say, be careful (ha i accidentally typed "dareful") because your cazimi may translate into a profound experience for some people, who may be strongly affected by it. as if sexuality wasn't profound and intense enough..
i remember this guy from london who had a tryst in mongolia when he was touring china.. i don't really know mongolia but this woman followed him around china everywhere he went..
..i never heard from him again. that is the kind of "reaction" i'm talking about..
btw i googled "mars in virgo" and the first descriptor (without following any links) said "aggressively analytical". i think the phrase "like a scientist" has seen recent popularity.
