Re: moon applying to significator in 8th house
Well-everything else being exactly equal and only considering the Moon:
-Moon (as co-significator for the querent) in 8th house (from querent) = - for whatever the Moon signifies
-Moon in exaltation in Taurus = + for whatever the Moon signifies
-Moon applying to conjunction with Jupiter (taking Jupiter as a generic benefic) = + for wahtever the Moon signifies
-Moon being in a Bright degree of Taurus = + forwhatever the Moon signifies
-Moon is in the Egyptian term of Mercury, which means there is reception by term between Moon and Mercury (if Mercury is relevant in the question; note, though, that Mercury is the lord of the 1st house in this chart)
-Moon is in a pitted degree of Taurus, which means that there is blockage, delay, stagnation relative to whatever the Moon signifies in this chart
So, all else being equal, one would blend these indications in coming to a conclusion about the influences upon whatever the Moon signifies in this chart, paying especial delineative attention to the pitted (blocked, delayed) indication for the Moon, in coming to the final judgement regarding the Moon in this chart.
(...at least the above is how Ankara horary-ie, oldtime Ottoman astrology-would consider the situation...)

read that moon may mean wife, so jupiter is married?
read that significator in 8th may mean illness, death, inheritance, or some obsession, possibly sex issues?
what do you make of this?
txs for helping out

Depends on what your question was. Who does the Moon represent? It has to be read into context. Generally, 8th house is a house of anguish. Significators in this house show their fear/being anxious at the time of the question. Jupiter is a ninth house placement here as he is within 5 degrees of the cusp of the next house

Re: moon applying to significator in 8th house
without context of question, it would imply quesited is in need of other's emotional, financial support of matter.
quesited is emotionally invested in what they feel other entity owes them.

Re: moon applying to significator in 8th house
in concept of quesited's 8th with planets inside, those planets can be helpful or hindering to what you are wanting from 8th house person. their relationship to moon (question/querant's motivation for question) shows how they will behave.
this is separate thing to look at in addition to querant's ruler in aspect to 8th house ~ what quesitedis willing to share with you.

Re: moon applying to significator in 8th house
If your question's whether you're going to see this guy or not, then the answer is yes, but the matter will end in loss & disappointment.
If your question's whether he has someone else by his side, then I believe it's highly likely. Moon here probably doesn't represent you. You're mercury in Jupiter's term. The lord of his 5th is the Moon & the moon could well mean another woman.

Re: moon applying to significator in 8th house
You should change the house system to regiomontanus. I said loss & disappointment because the Moon/Jupiter conjunction takes place in the 8th but the house system is placidus. Horary astrologers prefer regiomontanus. The 8th is a sad place for planets to be in & matters never end well.
Mercury is in the 7th, the quesited's house! That's major.
Since your question wasn't whether Mr. Jupiter has someone else by his side or not, this chart possibly doesn't say anything about that. The moon here is your co-significator.
