Carl Sagan was down on (not with) Astrology; but, nobody's perfect. He was a firm believer in Humanity's potential.
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=m6ugFcwsgpE

I doubt he knew his optimism was in line with a basic tenet of the Aquarian Age concept that human nature will change for the better.

Maybe some of Sagan's hopes and dreams will come true. This is directly connected with Haramein's breakthrough theories.

Breakthrough: NASA Confirms Electromagnetic Drive Produces Thrust in Vacuum

An electromagnetic drive being developed by NASA to operate without rocket fuel, in a vacuum, is seemingly defying the laws of physics, and raising hopes for the future of space travel.

OK, time to revive this thread.

World first: Japanese robot enrolls in high school

A high school in Japan is about to receive a new student, and his name is Pepper. He's likely to stand out among his classmates, however, because Pepper is actually a humanoid robot. It marks the first time a robot will study alongside human students.

I would be lying if I said I wasn't a little envious of the future generation. Living on another planet sure sounds.....wildly interesting.

the unspoken problem is that the cosmic radiation in space would kill the astronauts well before they reached the destination.
For that matter we cannot even go to Mars for the same reason. Scientists don't talk about this. If the technology existed, they could clean up Fukushima. They can't because there is no way to block the radiation. It would take 7 miles of lead sheathing around space vehicle to get to Mars without killing the passengers. Space travel is a pipe dream with existing technology.
If wormholes were found to exist and some type of electromagnetic propulsion systems were developed, then space travel might be feasible.

the article mentions that the hobbit was a hominid that"down sized" on flores island.
they overlook or don't mention one thing that is problematic if the hobbit is a hominid. this is that the hobbits wrist was unlike any hominid, it was a wrist was structured like a ape/simian, indicating an evolution closer to chimps than hominids.

This is the real secret to cold fusion:
Uranium will absorb and compress hydrogen to the point of fusion when zapped with a very high current discharge of a few microseconds….
… Triggering a fission/fusion process with no need for a critical mass being needed………………

PHYSICISTS SEND PARTICLES OF LIGHT INTO THE PAST, PROVING TIME TRAVEL IS POSSIBLE?

Scientists from the University of Queensland, Australia, have used single particles of light (photons) to simulate quantum particles travelling through time. They showed that one photon can pass through a wormhole and then interact with its older self.

if you read the article, it has not been done ,only mathematically proved it could be done.

but a few years back there was a quantum experiment that suggested time could go backwards.

the y split a particle beam and then ran each beam through a substance and checked t see how much the beam had been deflected. the they ran these 2 beams through another substance and checked the deflection again.
then they ran the experiment again this time after they sent thre beams through the first substance, they only ran one through the second substance . the incidence of deflection through the first substance of the beam that did not go through a second substance changed. that is the measurement of the deflection of the beam through the first substance was different than the control beam when the beam did not go through the second measurement. this indicated that the beam was transferring information back to the first measurement and hence back in time.

Tiny 'Atomic Memory' Device Could Store All Books Ever Written

A new "atomic memory" device that encodes data atom by atom can store hundreds of times more data than current hard disks can, a new study finds.

"You would need just the area of a postage stamp to write out all books ever written," said study senior author Sander Otte, a physicist at the Delft University of Technology's Kavli Institute of Nanoscience in the Netherlands.

I love that T.V. advertisement where the guy gets a call from himself in the future telling him to buy the car, take the job, and ditch the woman--all things he presumably didn't do on his own. What advice would you give your self of 1 to 25 years back, in a VERY short phone call?
