Dominant personality

What would be the reason of a dominant personality, by that I mean someone who stands out in a group or crowd, bieng noticable, loud. Would it be the house position of the Sun, the aspects to the Sun or the rising sign that is controlling the situation.

Example of a person I know would be Aries rising with Mars conjunct Jupiter and opposition Mercury.

I think that strong Leo (Leo rising, Sun in Leo aspecting ASC) would be also seen that way.

oh God, i`m that kind of person..i`ve got scorp rising conj pluto and the sun in leo in the 10th house...

I've noticed people with Sun in the 1st have a dominant presence.

Exactly Sun in 1st house gives a dominant personality

Well I don't know my birth time, so I am not sure of the planets and houses, but I have sun conjunct jupiter oppossed by mars, could that be the reason.

i know a person with sun in the first house but she`s defnitely not dominant type, she`s rather shy and not very self-confident. her sun is in cancer, so maybe we must also look at sign of the first house sun?

I wasn't talking about the personality trait.More like the aura.

Saturian, thats more mystical, like an awareness, a weak sign in the first house, but that type of person would not dominate a group, unless there were some heavy aspects involved.

I think this could very well be the reason. Sun, Jupiter and Mars are highly energetic planets so you would emit much of energy, therefore you´d be quickly noticed by others.
Sun conjunct Jupiter can make one "larger that life" character, nearly always in a good mood, with Mars opposing giving him/her a hint of dominance and a bit of commandeering spirit.

This would be especially obvious if these planets are in fire signs, because they naturally rule them. What is your Sun sign?

Pluto especially conjunt asc. will create a dominant personality, controlling perhaps ... but Pluto won't be loud.

I guess any planet or sign in the first house will take on an Airies type persona, me first and even more so if it is strongly aspected. In my opinion a strongly aspected Sun will shine irrepective of the house it occupies. By the way Yennefer I am a Virgo.

I have Sun conjunct Asc.
Mars conjunct Asc.
Jupiter sextile Mars.
Jupiter sextile Ascendant.
Also a stellium in the first.
While I have many Capricornian traits(at least on the outside) it seems I don't have that aura.For some weird reason I don't attract guys who have Venus in earth sign.Even if I have both my Venus and Mars in Capricorn.I am attracted to them but they never by me(at least now).Or when they have their sun or moon in earth.It's weird.
Instead this year all I've been attracting have been people with Libra sun/or Asc and always Venus and Mars in Leo.
I guess it plays a major role that my planets are mostly in the 1st.Dunno,I just find it so **** weird.
I've also noticed that I have a hard time getting along with heavily influenced earth/water people.Despite me being all earth and water.We just don't like each other for some reason(at least the girls).

I've also noticed that many of the Arian traits come into surface around the people I am comfortable with.I am loud,very talkative,very restless and fast even competitive and laugh loud too.It's kinda weird.

Laugh loud is so Jupiter, I laugh loud, thats cool. Restless, fast and the competitiveness is mars, sound like me a bit there.

It can be any of those things involved, plus other factors. You can't nail it down to one of those.

Generally Fire signs or 1st house fire planet types fit that description more than other astrological types. Aquarians are often very much at home in groups, but that's a big generalization.

the first thing you need to do is attempt a birth time, if you were born in hospital, then there is a chance of getting a copy of your birth record..

Heavy Pluto I am a scorpio first house,with Pluto and lilith in scorpio in my first house,and on my asc ( scorpio ) ,pluto aspecting my sun,moon and forming a grand water trine...I would say I am powerful ( power can be negative or positive of course..negative being you attract the harmful power to you )

one of my ex boyfriends had tons of planets in scorpio ( nearly all of them ) in his first house...his charisma and dominance can be cut threw a knife in a room,even when he does nothing but sit and not open his mouth.
