I broke it off with someone and he text me last Monday to see if I was ok after months. I was a little upset he left it for months. I replied to the text saying I’m good and how is he. He text back saying he was good too and that was it. We were very close.

Will he call me today?

No, he won't. His L3/contact/mars is in his 12th house conjunct Saturn. A planet cant act out of the 12th house and especially being conjunct Saturn, with Saturn also being an out of sect malefic, this causes even more restraint on mars acting.

Now you are in his derived 3rd house (3rd from 7th) so my guess is you need to be the one to reach out to him first. But you won't do that yet, as moons void and also the sun is void until meets by a square with Jupiter at 25 degrees.
