Obstacles to Potential Success

I have been having difficulty of gaining success in almost everything I do in my life. In one of my previous thread, a senior member indicated my Chiron in Cancer/3rd is QCX (quincunx) to my stellium(s). Any insights for that? Thanks!

Bear in mind Cskhee, that anyone making 100+ posts on AW becomes a "senior member"....So, it's not an indicator of astrological expertise...

...Also, it's your NN in Cancer/3rd that is qcx your stellium...

...However, both this and your Chiron in Taurus/2nd may indeed be contributing to the difficulty in gaining success.

You may also want to research your Jupiter and mars singletons....
Singleton planets
“If a planet happens to be the only one in an element, quality, or house type, that planet is a Singleton and it can funnel all of the “energy” of the horoscope. This planet is often the most important one in the horoscope. In other words, if you just interpret the position of this one planet by sign, house, and aspect, you will get to the “heart of the horoscope”. The effect is the same as if that planet were the only one on one side of the chart.”

(There is a book out by Shirley Lyons Meier, "Elemental Voids, More than Meets the Eye", which gives a good discussion of missing elements.) The Inferior Function can be a source of great motivation and creative expression.

Thanks for both reply. I have read the links on your post (astrologer50) and I did "feel" the singleton energy in me. Two questions that arise in my brain are:

1) I have been known to be extremely aggressive when I am angry. Will my natal Mars in Capricorn in the 10th House (along with the aspects) has any indication that I could be an inmate in the future?

2) Ian Thrope, the Australian swimmer, has Jupiter in Scorpio in 10th, which makes him publicly well-know to his career associated with water. If the interpretation to be applied to my chart, what does it mean to have Jupiter in Scorpio in 8th House and how will if affects my life, career and earning ability?

Thanks

I notice your time of birth seems rounded up to 4pm. IF your time is correct you should have moved house age 3? Age 4 was there a male sibling born or did you become quite aggressive?

Having a lot of fire energy in your chart - this needs channelling with chart ruler conjunct MC suggests where you put energy, exalted in Capricorn and hard aspects.

You also have NO planets below the horizon which suggests a lack of subjectivity...

If you intend to learn about astrology, you will need to begin with a natal chart, it need not necessarily be your own, but many choose to begin this way, in an effort to better understand their own life journey, and purpose. Astrological natal charts are as individual as a persons ‘fingerprints’ depending on where (latitude & longitude) and time of birth. It is important to get your *time of your birth* as this is the most important information.

Here are my personal recommend beginners links to focus upon Natal charts:-

House systems
Lots of people that come into Astrology get their free charts calculated at www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all that there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few more.

Throughout the forums but mainly in natal astrology there are two main branches Placidus (unequal size houses) v Equal House (whereby each house is same size) but lots more……. For more information on these go here.

It's only with study and research will you be able to assess where your planets are deposited and in which houses... thus see which 'glove fits'
