Lost my gold chain and ring

Hi
Yesterday I opened my jewellery box to wear some of my gold, however I could not find my gold pendant chain and a ring. Both were kept in the same box.
Rest everything was there, but these 2 items were missing.
I dont know the date-when it was lost. I figured out yesterday only when i decided to wear a little gold.
I am worried, where it could be!
It was given to me by my mom

Please help.
