Re: Random presidential thoughts

Why the corrupt Clinton lost

Congrats, Trump voters! I voted Green myself, since I didn't want to support either of the two as Both have so much dirt on them. However, only one arms child solider's, and that one is Clinton.

This will hopefully be a wake-up call to the Democratic party - shape the **** up. People are tired of the corruption, the establishment, the special interests, etc. Donald may not have been the right "**** you" to the establishment, but that is what we've got.

Would have voted for Bernie Sanders as he would have been the much better "**** you" to the establishment, but he got cheated out by Saint Hillary and the DNC.

Re: Random presidential thoughts

Lmao. So, Trump just played his cards wrong, again. Remember being against the establishment and against the lobbyist? Well,

https://theintercept.com/2016/11/08/...ion-lobbyists/

Hahahaha. Welp, so much for hating the lobbyist, eh?

Edit - Oh, more: http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/13/politi...hief-of-staff/

Hahahaha.

Anyone know if he's legally required to release his tax-returns before assuming office? Must be something there he doesn't want us to know about.

Unfair to refer to President-elect Donald Trump as a "tard". He just has a unique way of expressing himself.

TWO seriously flawed candidates with MANY hood-winked supporters--Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton. We were bound to get stuck with one of them.

Exactly
there was no real choice

And the hoodwinking goes on - Neptune is all over this election and its aftermath. Fake protests are being posted using old videos from Venezuela. How is anyone supposed to discern reality from fiction in today's online world?

Re: Random presidential thoughts

President elect Donald J Trump actually shocked me today.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/...ment/#comments

Banning lobbyists. Even though his transition team has lobbyists, he still wants to place a 5 year ban on lobbyists, interestingly good.

From the article,

Quote:
“It goes back to Trump’s goal to make sure people aren’t using government to enrich themselves,” transition spokesman Sean Spicer said on a call with reporters. “The key thing for this administration is going to be that people going out of government won’t be able to use that service to enrich themselves for a five-year period.”
This is a step in a good direction and one the corrupt Clinton's would never do. Neither would President Obama, which is saying something.

Good move from our future President, imo.

Re: Random presidential thoughts

Jeez. Look at this,

http://www.politico.com/story/2016/1...network-231588

*Le sigh*

From the article,

Quote:
Hillary Clinton’s attack dog David Brock is launching his own Koch-brothers-like donor network to finance attacks on President-elect Donald Trump and to rebuild the political left after Trump’s stunning victory over Clinton last week.

Brock on Thursday night emailed more than 200 of the biggest donors on the left — including finance titans George Soros, Tom Steyer and Donald Sussman — inviting them to a retreat in Palm Beach over inauguration weekend to assess what Democrats did wrong in 2016, figure out how to correct it and raise cash for those initiatives.
The democratic party is full of dumbasses who haven't learned a SINGLE thing from this election. That one thing? People are sick and tired of the corporatism and billionaire butt licking from the so called "for the people" party the democrats are supposed to represent. This is why Donald J Trump beat out Hillary Clinton and this is why democratic voters have lost faith in their own party.

If the democrats were really worried about why they lost....let me tell you a little, apparently, well kept secret....THEY ARE OUT OF TOUCH WITH THE PEOPLE THEY CLAIM TO SERVE! How in the world is going to a retreat with some Billionaires going to help anyone realize why they lost?

Good move, Democrats. (Sarcasm)

I know, David. It drives me up a wall just thinking about it, but here is the simplified reason: Both candidates are corporate in one way or another, but only one claimed to be against corporatism. Only one held the slogan "Make America great again" (Inclusive, for all Americans) vs "I'm with her" (selfish, for her). One appeals to the people, trying to sympathize with the common man, while the other is blatantly selfish.

I said it before, "Trump is the wrong **** you to the establishment", only time will tell though.

This election was a lose-lose for America, and we lost. Lets just hope that the President elect proves naysayers wrong. Like that shocking article I posted above.

Sup m8. This page shows the policies he plans to put in place: https://www.donaldjtrump.com/policies.

Bypass all the noise and see for yourself what he has to offer. Apparently many of his most ardent supporters are planning to hold him accountable for his promises (the guys on infinity for e.g.)
