"flipped" or contradictive House pattern in a chart

Hello,
I am not sure if this is the right place to post but I have been wondering forever:
If a planet is in the apposite house of its sign how is the meaning changed?
For example if I have a Moon in Scorpio in the 2nd house of Taurus and a Venus in Taurus in the 8th house?
In fact all my Chart is like this and it makes reading it a bit confusing.
I know the House is the "how" of the sign but I still feel this type of pattern in a chart must mean something?

I have this too. With Libra Ascendant this happens. For example I have Sun in Aquarius in the 5th and Mercury in Capricorn in the 4th. Nine times out of ten I relate more to the house placement than the sign. The house does affect the planet.
With charts like ours, we need to find balance. "We balance" is the Libra keyword. Think of the scales - balancing. The Libra is all about finding that balance. Balancing the planet energy so for you Moon in Scorpio, and bringing it to the 2nd house. So for that it would be emotional intensity (Moon in Scorpio) in your personal values and your support system. Balance the two and use both energies of the planet and the energy of the house.
