tropical or sideral?

Recently I found out that I can cast a chart using the sideral (geocentric) instead of the tropical frame of refefence and interpret with the common rules of Western Astrology.

I understand that the difference is the slow virtual circular movement of the signs around Earth and that the tropical system is what the sideral was about 2 millenia ago.
I also understand that if not the stars / planets cause the effect on the chart but only the movement of Earth then the tropical system is the only right one.
But quite different when the radiation (what kind ever) of the celestial bodies
cause the effects.
Now when I cast a chart in both systems they are different of course and so are there interpretations. I am confused which system to use.
Does it kind of mean my tropical chart now shows my characteristics as they were 2000 years ago?
Which system should I use? The Jyotish are using the sideral (Lahiri) system as well - but they have different rules - so there need not be a conflict.

Tropical chart shows skies as they appeared 2000 years ago
Sideral chart shows skies as they appear today
i.e.
assume Moon is in Aquarius in Sidereal chart for that day
then if the skies are clear
Moon is clearly seen in the constellation of Aquarius that evening

A Tropical chart is correct only once every approximaely 26,000 years

It boils down to philosophical preference depending which system to employ. Both have a logical explanation attached to why they are used.

Both seem to work anyways

Western astrology was based on tropical, thus many of its techniques are based for tropical zodiac. Eastern astrology (vedic) employs sidereal, and also employs different techniques.

I use tropical, but I have tested sidereal a bit, and it works very well too.
