there is venus in taurus opposition uranus in sagittarius--but I think that the above aspects are too hard to keep the romance together

are there other aspects that would help?

These aspects are not very good for synastry although they can create attraction at first. Later, the cracks will start to show. Saturn is cold and depressing in nature but also brings stability even with difficult aspects; Mars is fiery and actioned oriented and creates attraction but can also create friction with hard aspects.

Please post the charts separately as this type of chart is sort of useless. If you don't have the exact time of birth please disclose.
