Ok, what this poster was actually referring to was moving locations BEFORE the solar return so when it comes into effect the new location and the planets therein would set the tone for the new year. You, fortunately or unfortunately, have stayed at the same place on your birthday so your current solar return is in effect for the next year.

Ice, m8, you're going to have to get out of your comfort zone if you want this girlfriend thing to go anywhere fulfilling.
But every time I do try to get out of my comfort zone I would just get embarrassed, rejected or the contact just wouldn't work out after a while. Those Hard Venus aspects make this type of thing tough.

Would you prefer the alternative of lovelessness? Your Taurus Moon conjunct the DSC and 1st Venus ruling the 7th tells me otherwise. Though those aspects to your Venus are tough.
Although I can understand your reluctance in not wanting to take too much chances. With a Scorpio Rising, asc ruler in Virgo, Taurus Moon and Capricorn Sun you'll definitely be on the more conservative side of things.
Another issue that I see is that your Venus also rules the 11th so its not like friendships aren't wrought with there own set of minefields. How are your social skills? Maybe what you could do is begin small by developing your social skills to better interact with people in general before you start taking on the challenge of getting a girlfriend. You might benefit from interacting in low pressure and leisure environments where the urgency of getting a girl isn't high. Its also low intensity enough so that you are still able to take care of your dad whilst doing so.
Well Solar Return moon in Gemini should help with that right?

Oh I hope you are right Conspiracy, this year has kind of been a rocky road, as my sickly father succumbed to his sickness and passed in the middle of march. I do hope I meet this woman this year and helps lift my spirits.
Still nothing yet, conspiracy. I am going to a new school in the fall so perhaps I'll meet her there.

That's tough m8. It looks like you don't know how to post up your charts permanently - follow these instructions so that you don't have to keep reposting. You could also save your charts on image sharing sites and paste the link/pic here. Those are also a more permanent way of keeping your charts up.
Constant interaction with girls heighten your chances so that's a good thing for you.
Thanks I have them posted now, I am still greatly saddened by the lost of my father a month ago, but for whatever reason now I feel like this is the year I will finally get to meet the mother of my children! I really can't wait to get back to school

This might be an obvious suggestion, but go for a chick(s) that shares your long-term orientation to romance. The last thing you want is to fall for a girl who isn't ready/willing to settle down.
Of course, I want something for the long haul.
