Hello! I've been into astrology few weeks from now. After searching for days over the net, having my own "analysis" about my natal chart, I've found out that this site is the most active astrology forum. In connection with this, could someone help me have an analysis on my birth chart? Teehee  Especially those aspected ones and those in not-so-usual placements? I have searched on these for weeks now but I still doubt about my own analysis.

Btw, here's the list of my placements that have just caught my eye:
-Venus in Taurus in 5th house
-Venus (Taurus) opposite Pluto (Scorpio)
-Sun (Cancer) opposite Ascendant (Capricorn)
-Saturn in Pisces (because when I compared my natal chart to some of my friends who were in the same age as mine, they all have Saturn in Aquarius)
-Retrogade Pluto in Scorpio in 11th house (I don't know but astro.com told me that this is a major aspect of my psyche)

Also, what do the following aspects mean? I just read this from astro.com, pullen astrology.
-Grand Trine: Moon (Virgo, 44`88) - Venus (Taurus, 47`52) - Uranus (Capricorn, 53`05)
-Grand Trine: Moon (Virgo, 44`88) - Venus (Taurus, 47`52) - Neptune (Capricorn, 12`33)
-T-Square: Pluto (Scorpio, 6`30) - Mars (Virgo, 13`12) - Saturn (Pisces, 8`22)

For better analysis, I've included my natal chart.

P.S. I hope you don't mind if I erased my name, birthdate, and place of my birth on my natal chart :D There might be stalkers around. Haha. Kidding.

Hello June,

My knowledge of astrology is intermediate, but I can answer some of your questions. Taurus is on the cusp of your 5th House, as it is in mine. I think your creativity or talents lies in cultivating your money-making abilities(Taurus in the natural ruler of the 2nd House - money/values), in some way that allows you freedom to manifest your deepest desires and be true to yourself(Aquarius on the cusp of your 2nd). Venus in Taurus also rules your MC(career/reputation)so maybe this is your calling in life.
I have Pluto in Scorpio in the 11th house as well, but mine is direct. I have read that this placement is about being associated with powerful groups/networks and somehow being transformed by them.

Sorry, I don't know much about the others. This is my first time trying to read someone else's chart; I hope I haven't completely ******* it up!!

I'm glad that you have, you never know about identity theft these days...

You can get an immediate chart interpretation from astro.com. From ‘free horoscopes tab look for free 'personal portrait' or ‘astroclick portrait’ interpretation of a natal chart in the free horoscope section, you simply put the cursor on a planet and it brings a pop up box to explain what it means to have a planet in that house and any other aspects it has to natal planets. plus a six month free transit report in 'short report' Robert Hand gives a valuable in depth explanation of transits here – only slight objection I have with astro, is they use orbs of upto maybe 10' approaching, exact and departing. So most transits seem very long in effect. I use more realistic orbs of 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing.

I notice Transiting pluto is currently conjunct your Asc. This is a *major* transit

Pluto Transits Conjunct Ascendant
"This is a time of great personal change. You become tired of your role in life, and you are very sensitive to habits, customs, and social requirements that hide the "real you". You feel as though you have been drifting along with the tide and following the crowd for too long, and your inner needs and motivations must assert themselves more strongly.

You may find yourself becoming intensely personal and passionate in the way you appear or come on to others. You will develop a more direct method of communication, getting to the very heart of things"

No!! You haven't. I'm glad you shared your insights. Given the fact that it's your first time to read someone else's chart

Wow! Really? I admit I really don't have enough knowledge about transits/ephemeris, etc. I always stick researching about my natal chart, the houses and its aspects. Maybe I'll try to research about transits if I got time

About my education, well. It was kinda.. I don't know how to describe. Lol. (Okay. I'll now tell you the story how I've brought myself to my current course now) When I was young, I already have that mindset that I shall take-up film when I reach college. It was really my fondness of watching movies before that inspired me to be a director. And because, I just found that job unique. Haha. But when the entrance examination came, I only pass my second choice course, which is computer science. Actually, I don't know what gotten in my mind that I put it as my second course. Maybe because that time, I was kinda hooked in computer stuffs. And I can't think of any other college degree that's within my interest. So I basically like, settled for less. For I didn't pursue anymore my dream course before.

During my first year in college, I was surprised how difficult computer science was. I mean the programming, I don't have any background knowledge about it at all! To be honest, I feel like I just entered college with that course only for my education's sake. I really don't like what I'm doing before. I'm not satisfied. And my mother contributed a lot for such complete discouragement. She would always compare me before to my sister who was taking up Chemical Engineering. I feel so degraded. Especially during those times wherein she could just immediately brag about my sister's course to our visitors/relatives, and when they would start asking about me, how's my school life going, she would just mention to where University I'm studying at and will not eleborate it anymore :-( I dealt with it the whole year and I just studied well during the first semester. Luckily, I made it on the Dean's List. I was surprised because I honestly didn't expect it. I always doubt myself. But being on that list have motivated me so much despite of the demotivation I get from my own mother (that she don't even know ) By the way, during that time, I was already thinking of shifting to another course. I was just thinking before what course I should shift, whether psychology or philo (then procedure to law) But when I made it to the Dean's List, I made up my mind that my calling might be around technical stuffs.

Second semester came and it was just.. okay. I started to like programming even though there are times where I just feel like my brain's so dried up. But even though I began to love programming, (I even thought of not shifting at all before) there's still a feeling of dissatisfaction within me. I spent the whole semester meditating and examining what I really want in life. Until I finally made a decision, and that is to shift to Electronics Engineering. Sorry this is too long! I just feel that this shifting thing had risked my good record on being a computer science student. Now, I pay the price of being indecisive during the filling up of forms for college entrance test because I will be delayed for a year. :pinched:

Are you sure you aren't interested in making films? You might be very well suited to it...
Mind you that grand trines give ease of flow with things, but you do not want to take that for granted thus letting the opportunity slip away. The grand trine(s) that you have here would imbue you with a keen sense of detail and organization while being able to create something beautiful and illusionary, really seems like film to me (but that's just my opinion)

Ohhhh. I forgot to mention that my first choice during the college entrance exam was Communication Arts (because it's the only degree I found closely related to Film). But I didn't pass it. I only pass my second choice, and that was Computer Science. So that time, I was already somehow discouraged because I felt like it was not meant for me.

It got me thinking actually about that film-making thing - what if, I'll just pursue it after I graduate or what, especially when the Bossette mentioned that Venus rules my MC too (which is Libra, and for the longest time, I thought that the only ruling planet of Venus is Taurus. Lol.)

Also, I want to ask something. I have read in some other sites that Libra has the reputation for being indecisive. Could this be the reason why? Does it make someone indecisive in choosing a career path? I also noticed that even though I have a water sun sign, my dominant sign is an earth sign. Could this also mean that I tend to go over practicality? Than those "creative ones?" Even I have that venus in taurus in 5th house, and venus as the ruler of my MC? Whoaaaah. OMG. What's wrong with me? Am I in the wrong path? :pouty:

Actually, librans make good diplomats, receptionists and charmers, but they can also be argementative, indecisive and some with lots in libra, can be crippled by their own indecisiveness...

Wow. The links you have given are so informative. Thank you very much! Now I have better understanding why some of the articles I read over the internet seem to oppose about how I see myself... Thank you so much for the links

And also, can I ask how I deal love base on my birth chart? The positive and negative ones? Teehee  I never had a boyfriend yet but I already fell in love and got deeply hurt. I believe it was a kind of love-at-first sight attraction, and I met him last June 2008. Does it have something to do with my transits, etc that time? He's a virgo by the way, with a capricorn moon, leo venus and libra mars. And then just this June 2011 (wow! seems like I got a pattern here), I began crushing someone.. it was an intense crush! Actually, it all started in facebook chat. He chatted me around 11pm (June 6) until 2am (June 7). He's not new to me, and ever since I never see him attractive - not until that night. We flirted a lot, throwing cheesy lines on each other and acting like girlfriend-boyfriend. Haha. Until I just caught myself hooked. The feeling get intense as time passed by for he also continued to do special things for me like he's actually courting or what. That happened between June - September, and the next following months, things became less intense.. Actually, I started having doubts on him as well as my own feelings because of two things: a.) That was last week of September when I started having doubts on him because there are times (actually, a lot) where I could see his name and one of my closest friends' name on newsfeed and they're flirting each other. My friend knew I like him, and I just can't help but to feel betrayed. Btw, the guy is a scorpio, and my friend is a libra. b.) One of my closest Taurus guy-friend confessed his feelings for me during the time I was having an intense crush to that Scorpio boy. Although I found him attractive and ideal and kind, I don't know.. I don't know what's with that scorpio guy . July was my most complicated month last year. I asked my friends' help to let my Taurus friend know that I already like someone else and that time, I just can't help but to feel guilty. So.. when I started having doubts on that Scorpio boy, it got me thinking that maybe, this is God's way for letting me know that that Scorpio boy is not the right guy for me.. Although I really don't know what's happening between us, I still have a thing for that Scorpio guy even until now..

I don't know but... sometimes, I just can't understand myself.. Sometimes, I feel like I fall in love (or maybe, like) easily. All the people (actually, they're just 2. haha) I'm usually got a thing on came in my life unexpectedly.. I mean.. they are both complete strangers. But when things became so intense, so too good to be true, I would just want to slow down and take time.. build a strong friendship together.. and it's crazy! Because sometimes, I feel like they would misunderstood it as to being cold or what. I don't know. Is this trait wrong? Another is, ever since, my ideal relationship is the one rooted in friendship. But now, I figured out, after dumping 2 of my closest guy friends in my life (take note, they are both taurus), there might be no really chance for me to like a friend. What do you think why I'm like this? Sorry for this another long reply.. I hope I didn't annoy you.. Btw, I'm already 18. You might wonder about my age.

I just read some articles about mercury-uranus opposition.. And it says that I could have a considerable mental ability but will have difficulty in directing it in positive channels. *sigh* It's amusing how some of my aspects could look great yet at the same time, being troubled by another aspect.

Ahhh. I understand now. I studied the link you gave me and I figured out that the ruler of my 12th house is in the 10th house.

Ruler of the Twelfth House in the Tenth House
Any altruistic service that you perform will come before the public eye. You want to help others through your career or your position of authority and responsibility. You could experience a time of confusion and doubt about your career choices. You may be called upon to forgive your father or some other primary authority figure. Too much emphasis on your worldly status can eventually work against you. Use whatever power you gain with wisdom and compassion. The world you create is the one you will also live in.

Thank you so much for the idea. This kind of interpretation is always the one I'm my looking for. Whoaaaah. And also about the transits. Thank you! I know now how to use it. I even included it on my planner. Haha. Thank you so much! And oh btw, about the transits. How could you manually know if the planets are square/trine/sextile? I have read that square is 90deg, trine is 120deg etc. But how could I know the angle difference between the transisting planets? They don't even reach 90degrees. Sorry for this stupid question

pure maths the planets only ever get upto 30' so 0-30 taurus when it gets to 30' it changes to 0' gemini and so on around the zodiac

http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?t=42496

this shows how to use an ephemeris, where is states what degree every planet is at any given time. If you get a bi wheel from astro.com it gets very easy to see conjunctions, as they are in the same degree, so if you count 3whole signs = 90' square, if you count 2 signs = sextile, 4 signs along = 120' trine. then the orbs...

I use + or- 8' for conjunctions, square 90' and oppositions 180'
sun and moon have 10' being luminaries
sextiles 60' and trines 120' get + or - 6'
quincunxs 150' are + or - 3'

hope this helps
