Controversial synastry - is it worth it?

There are some very nice placements but also some serious astrological red flags that include Pluto and Saturn.

What do you think? Should I(Capricorn) forget this and run or should I give it a chance. We are on separate Continents at the moment, he(Virgo) is coming back at the end of the month...our relationship is not yet established...
I feel that he is also uncertain, but there is intense attraction/connection + sex is the best.

If the relationship is not yet established, it's too soon to bring astrology into it. Any synastry can manifest in a wonderful way, a terrible way, or anything in between. It depends on how each of you is living out your chart, and how ready each of you is for this relationship. That part depends on your life choices. The birth chart does not determine that.

Spending time and energy on reading the map interferes with your ability to relate to the other person. At this stage, you need to get to know him, not the imperfect map to him. All looking at the synastry does is give you preconceived notions that are not necessarily accurate.

Even the best relationships have "bad" placements in their synastry. There's no such thing as an astrological red flag. If you're seeing any red flags in the relationship itself, that's something to pay attention to, but the astrology isn't it.

From what you write, it seems that there is in fact the beginning of a relationship going on, but it just isn't solidified yet.
At the moment you're experiencing all the positive contacts, and there are some very nice ones that touch the personal planets, making it fun and exciting to be together.
Natally you have an exact sun/uranus conjunction, and sun symbolises the type of male figure you attract and are attracted to.
Between the two of you there is an exact Uranus conjunct North Node that re-creates that same type of energy for you in the relationship itself, reflecting what your sun/uranus searches for. This is a strong contact that lures you and keeps you involved.
Both the moon on descendent and Venus on ascendent are strong contacts that attract and bind.
Then there are the heavy contacts that will come out with time, and that neither physical attraction nor emotional compatibility will be able to override easily.
The mars/pluto conjunction, the Capricorn stellium squared by his Saturn and pluto, the mercury/mars square, moon square mars, are all heavy going.
With all this energy loaded up behind the scenes waiting to come to the fore front and shake you two up, it is also true what osamenor wrote, that every person will express their aspects differently, depending on how developed and mature they are.
So you might like to just stay in contact as long as the good is being played out and enjoy that together.
At any rate, the Uranus/north node contact will most probably bring things to an abrupt separation even without your conscious intervention.
