I have to say that you probably will regain your hearing again and hopefully the snakes will go away :) I had that for a year and it drove me nuts!
Even if the chart says no, which it is looking in that direction, with any trauma to the ear one may have some hearing deficit later on.
I have had ear infections after ear infection and each one contributed to my hearing loss to an extent.
If you suffer an injury like that it may never completely get 100% better.
With that said the chart may read a no, but it may only mean that you will suffer very minor insignificant loss, but the chart will count any loss as a no.

Like if I was sunburned at the beach, each burn can contribute to getting skin cancer. If I asked a chart if I will recover fully, the answer will likely be no, the skin damage was done, it healed, but the skin has been damaged to an extent.

So asking if it will recover fullly and you get a no answer, it may not mean you wont recover itr just may not be 100%

Mercury in the 9th squares moon
Mars dosent aspect mercury...both are retrograde..

I might be wrong about the chart itself, but I think it should get better.

I think the damage is due to the inner ear organs being so small and sensitive. The inner ear may swell making fluid to build up in the cochlea, which can lead to that hissing sound you are experiencing. The steroids will help with the inflammation process.

I wish you the best.
Try not to focus so much on the hissing noise, if you can have a fan nearby to help drown out the noise while you are sleeping, as this can be very aggravating when trying to rest.

If you dont get better a visit to a ENT specialist will help or a neurologist as well.
