Jupiter Transit

Hi everyone, for some reason I have been excited about the upcoming T Jupiter to my N Venus in Cap.

My take on the transit would be lucky in love... maybe my love asks me to marry him? The rings at the shop, just waiting for the offical asking and the ring! Funny enough my loves natal Venus is 29'35 Cap too, mine is 29'07. So this is a good sign?

Now I should also look at the house and aspects involved I guess. My N Venus is in the 10th, which T Jupiter has just passed my MC, just been thinking that I have got clients rather easily. Although not interested as much in the field I am in... and have been thinking of changing soon, just cant decide what to do.

Unfortunately, I have put on some weight, I am the biggest I have ever been... bad Jupiter! I think I read somewhere that Venus opp Jupiter in the natal chart makes you like eating bad food... is T Jupiter highlighting this.

I also have T Jupiter sextile my natal Mercury, not sure what that could mean, an ease in planning travel? I am also interested in T Jupiter opposite N Jupiter. A little worried as I dont want this to be challenging, I just want to relax :)

If anyone has had any experiences or could enlighten me of what could be predicted in any of these 3 transits that would be great

I was wondering if anyone has experienced it and what happened?

Hi kerry, I noticed you are having a jupiter opposition right now. As you have a natal venus/jupiter opposition then transiting jupiter will strengthen this. You may find that you feel very generous toward loved ones but be careful of being overly optimistic and not taking care of mundane aspects such as health and finances. I wouldnt necessarily expect a proposal during this time, that might come from a saturn trine to venus or transiting venus. Transiting jupiter is a feel good transit but be warned that not everything that feels good at the time is good for you. In particular over eating can be an issue, in fact over indulging in many things is typical of jupiter. enjoy the good feelings b ut dont neglect the bills:)

T Jupiter going over MC and venus suggests doors opening, opportunities and expansion with career, social standing and socialising, not really marriage proposal.

You need to look at secondary progressions, usually progressed sun conj venus or vice versa. prog moon onto sun, venus, mars, prog venus onto mars. Then look at Solar Arcs, progressing 1' for every year of your life, particularly personal planets sun - mars.

Then try Solar returns 5th & 7th house emphasis. Have you looked at synastry and compared your two charts.

Dont think you are just rely on Transits hon...... you need to study, research and read more luv...

@ rogue_red - thanks for your advice re family, finance and health. Mmm I seem to be having all of those problems lately :)

@ astrologer50 - thanks for your post, although I do believe I posted my thread in the Transits section only, so wanted to concentrate on Transits.

I particularly like transits more as I feel its more real, current planets hitting the natal chart, seems more real to me than, say a day for a year in progressions, when all the activity happened 29 years ago (for me).

I was thinking last night I would like to research not how it effects my chart, but why progressions and solar arcs came about. We cant believe eveything even if its a branch of astrology.

I do like Synastry, as I think its a pulling and tugging of different energies between two people, but again I didnt mention it as its again the Transits section, but of course we are suited :) Astrology keep on pointing for my mate to be a Piscean, although I was against it, I didnt want a emotional, sensitive and moody man.... lol just like me as I am Pisces, and what did I get exactly that! His Sun and my Sun are conjunct, as well as his Venus and my Venus are conjunct, all by exact degrees. His Sun is also conjunct my Mars, I also have a Pisces Juno, our Moons are also in the same sign both in Taurus, we both have a Moon / Chiron conjunction in Taurus. My Sun is in his 7th and his Sun is in my 11th, etc.

I like the way you think kerrie. I have been doing some research on exactly the same topics. I have been looking for correalations between significant life events and my progressed and solar arc charts for that time and period. I think, as is the case with anything we have to have our own mind. Pick the meat from the bones so to speak. There is such a wealth of information available in our natal charts and this combined with standard transits will keep me busy for a while. Personally I believe the best way to prepare for the future is to understand my past. By learning about myself, my motivations and choices I can see where I went wrong and where i went right. Astrology is a fabulous tool but im not convinced I want my entire life mapped out before I have even taken care of today. Transits are a great way of seeing up and coming influences, they help us to prepare and take full advantage of their effects.
On another note regarding jupiter. Jupiter is also the planet of wisdom and of opportunities. Open doors still need to be walked through and always trust your instincts. Jupiter is most beneficial when handled with both feet on the ground:)

since Venus rules you 7th house of partnerships and relationships, Jupiter transit might easily lead to something good. Not necessarily a wedding ring, but certainly a new level of connectedness and even better understanding in your love life.
For a relationship becoming serious, wait for Saturn transits. Jupiter brings good times. Saturn brings solidification. ;)
And it is a good thing your guy has the same Venus position meaning you experience all transits to Venus at the same time
recently I noticed many couples having Venus's in some aspect, very interesting thing.

I agree with astrologer50, for marriage and all stuff bigger, progressions and solars are to be looked too.

Hi Kerrie,

I have been having this exact transit, we were born not far apart. My Venus is in 5th. I had did gain 700 pounds, luckily it was in my bank account and not on the hips lol :D . No marriage proposal, nobody's that desperate to marry me. Lets us know on this thread what happens with the transit. :)

TO Kerrie

I understand you want to focus on transits. So do I. After studying progressions and solar return nothing much came out of it. For me the sun and venus in H 7 (both progressive and SR) hasn't really changed my single life. Other aspects and transits seems to be the reason.

I think Jupiter conj both of your venuses definitely means sth good:) I know people who have had it and definitely been lucky in love then. But in your case when you are together with somebody and they have venus conjunct then, anything is possible!
Last time I had jupiter conj venus I was in a relship. It had been many ups and down, but at least that phase was good. I did not get married, but thumbs up for you!

Well nothing special has happened, Im sad to say and I built this transit up so much.

The only thing I can think of is that I have relaxed quiet a bit, I havent even ventured onto to computer and I have been emotional, but nothing unusal for a Piscean  .

Maybe there is still time, I will let everyone know of any changes.

Hi...

When I had Jupiter conjunct Venus (and Neptune in 7th house Sag) a little over a year ago there was the potential for numerous relationships...none of which materialized into any real relationship. Perhaps Saturn or some earth signs need to be involved for that?

Jupiter is going over my stellium (too quickly I should say...how I wish it was as slow as Pluto at this time... )

So far this month tr Jupiter is conjunct natal MC and Mercury, and opp natal Jupiter. It is widely conjunct Mars and will soon conjunct Sun.

Here's what has happened to me

*I got a raise (but I wasnt the only one).
*My boss has just left on sick leave (for a matter of life and death).
*Ive met new friends (equally male and female) and have been invited to parties every weekend (considering I have 5th hstr Saturn sq Venus/Nept and opp Moon)
*Ive been healthy despite sleeping 4-5 hours a night for the last week and half, and working with coughing and sneezing children.
*Ive been asked to lead aerobics class (tr Jup conj Mars)
*Ive been getting along very well with my Gemini sister (Mercury opp Jup conj tr Jupiter = luck with Gem sibling?) whom I used to argue alot with.

well thats it for now at least...

I would like you (the above members who had the transit jupiter conj venus) to say, if their natal jupiter is well aspected or afflicted.
