The Rand Corporation did a study in 2012, and concluded that the only real threat to our current way of life would be a pandemic, which was a definite possibility.

If we go to war, it's likely a nuclear war, but no one wants that, so I doubt wars are a threat to humanity

I donít know if any of you have been paying attention, but in the Indus Valley civilization + countries, at least India and Pakistan, there is a horrific and large-scale migration underway due to authoritarian decree of curfew in the large cities. Millions of migrant workers, left without food or income for their families, are en route by foot and public transport back to joint families where isolation is impossible, in villages without hospitals. It is a bloodshed free echo of Partition (and its Saturn-Pluto conjunction), again imposed on them by the outside world.

Iíve seen it and some are getting beaten for being outside! How can they move out without going out? But yet they get beaten by the police! Madness

Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

Nostradamus isn't the only one who said the 21st century/3rd millennia AD/Aquarian age is humanity's hardest era, scientific mathematician Sir Isaac Newton in the 1600s was deeply into Christianity and compiled what he called a biblical code determined the year 2060 is Armageddon, esp. After the reconstruction of the third temple in Jerusalem, Israel heralds the Antichrist or a false Messiah.

The Eris in tropical Aries since WW1 (1917?) To the late 2000s like 2005 and also in tropical Aries until the mid 2060s, just when Halley's comet passes by the earth in 2061 like it does in its 75-76 year orbit, and the last 100 years of the complete transition into the Aquarian age to actually occur in 2160.

With all that's talk of doomsday in the period of March 30-April 3 (the nerve wrecking sun in 9-11' Aries), April fool's day will have to be cancelled. We need to cheer up and have light humor, not the derisive kind, since we have to be sensitive and supportive to each other this year. 10' Aries is March 31 on the astronomical solar calendar.

Oh wow I hadnít heard that yet, that middle class and above are in dire straits. My colleagues based in India are acting like itís all fine for them. The hardest hit seem to be those who donít have indoor places that extend beyond a roof. Hope your Aunty and her family are all right.
The best I can hope is that those with pressing survival needs are insulated from the fears of contamination in close range, and that the close ties that make up their way of life will somehow protect them from despair.

Yes, thank you Passiflora my Aunty and family are all good. They are based in the villages so over there that have a lot of ventilation and air as they own farms etc. But still itís within their confinementís. No socialising etc. Iíve never been so I donít know how it all works over there. I was sent a video by my brother and was horrified to see. He sent me 3. One where the man was on his bike going to get grocery, the other was going from city to village and the other was going to doctors. They were beaten with a stick by 3 or 4 policemen.

Usually over here in U.K. the local temples and gurdwaras normally donate charity etc but now they canít go over with the travel ban etc. Apparently in India they are locked away, self isolating for 21 days.
Iím not sure what the infected and death rates are over there but with politics etc they definitely wonít reveal the truth.
The people like you say who are in small confined spaces must be hard especially with no ventilation. So hot there

Dude, I didnít even think about gurdwaras being locked down. Gurdwaras, temples, mosques are the sources of sustenance during the roughest times. It must be agonising to the helpers also to have to stand on and look helplessly.

Hopefully the death risk is not as bad as itís been made to seem in the media. Fingers crossed.

I hope the media have exaggerated it!

Yes the power of gurdwaras etc when praying for things like this and bad energy and all the people that join. Now they are doing it from home, even if powerful not as much as 100s doing it at the same time.
Golden temple must be shut too. As if!! In all the years no matter what, this has never happened and not allowed to go in the water for cleansing

Re: Random Thoughts, strictly Text

Nostradamus predicted the covid19 pandemic? He might have, but the total centuries or quatrains of prophecies lasts a period of 2,000 years from his era 1550s to 3500 AD. He was influenced by scientist and artist Leonardo da Vinci a century earlier (1480s) of his own prophecy of a global flood theorized to come in the 2070-2100 period, when I guess all the world's ice sheets have totally melted away and greatly raised the global sea level by upwards of 200 feet or 500 meters.
