Can I see your whole chart please? Even if you are Leo rising, there might be some things giving you lots of Cancer tendencies (i.e. midpoint, aspects to or from Cancer planets or Moon.) There are a bajillion aspects and signs that are good with money, or at least don't spend it constantly, so I wouldn't go by that alone for Cancer.
Cancer is cardinal/initiating or "born" or "reborn" and Pisces is mutable/transforming or "dying" (Birth - Living - Death - Rebirth of an element repeatedly = Grand Trine.) All feminine signs are introvert (feminine is receptive, they're receiving when they're looking into themselves) and all masculine signs are extrovert (masculine is expressive, they're expressing onto other people. It's sort of an analogy with physiological masculinity and femininity and also shade and light or yin and yang.) Dry signs separate things apart, wet signs bring things together. Dry masculine can get along better with dry feminine than wet masculine can with wet feminine because wet and wet will basically cohere, while dry and dry can separate apart. Fixed signs also have the hardest hard aspects because they just keep doing what they're doing and don't change anything. Cardinal to fixed is the worst disjunct (or quincunx) because one tries to initiate while the other tries to stay in place. The worst disjunct would be either cardinal wet extrovert to fixed wet introvert, or cardinal wet introvert to fixed wet extrovert. Only one of these exists, and it's cardinal wet introvert to fixed wet extrovert, also known as Aquarius to Cancer. Aquarius and Pisces have a harmonic aspect between them (or more depending on the specific degrees) so there's no real problem there. Since Cancer is initiating it can give itself a "shell" while Pisces has to adapt, so without specific aspects Cancer could do a better job hiding emotions. Introvert signs tend to be more conservative since they're more concerned with themselves internally, while extrovert signs tend to be more liberal since they're more concerned with general welfare. Mutable is adaptable so naturally they are more open to things since they can adapt to them than cardinal, which is about starting or changing things, or fixed, which is about keeping things going. Cardinal seems to want to keep getting more and more things started as relates to their element but they (in isolation) can't sustain so fixed signs end up, counter-intuitively (intuition is bunk,) more open or progressive-minded or non-change-adverse than cardinal signs, despite being based around keeping up a sort of status quo. All the wet signs seem to have a sort of duality to them, although the fixed signs, being fixed, don't really show this as changeability so much as being impossible to figure out.
I'm sorry for how badly organized that was.
You want me to do more explaining of why astrology works the way it works?
