Karma is a word that means ACTION
NOT
reaction
actions simply have consequences

Karma = Action
There are three BASIC types:
PHYSICAL action
VERBAL action
and
MENTAL action.

Every action leaves an imprint

Physical actions may produce tangible residue
whereas
verbal and mental karma create intangible imprints.

Every day that actions are done
is a day when consequences are set in motion

Analyze the trail of any karma
and one may be surprised
how it may wane
but
never gets destroyed completely.
It is the residue of each karma that conditions one

Karma from my understanding is created when the free will choice has not been honored by those who share that free will choice to not honor it which creates a lower vibration of a reality which causes constant karmic payback scenarios until that original free will choice has been broken.

Those who did choose to honor their own and others free will choice are not part of that karmic reality which makes them immune to that other lower frequency of choice.

Some of us have perfected preemptively "reacting" to actions others have not yet taken. Some people call it being prepared. I call it joy-limiting anxiety and control issues.

Since I've become conscious of this, I suppose it's time to stop that ****. I've rerouted my go-to brain pathways before, so here I go again.

"Never assume". Also, "it's easier to ask for forgiveness than to ask permission".

The shadow of our actions ~ Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche
http://justdharma.com/s/l78wp

We were born alone

and

we will die alone.
Yet even while alone
we still have our shadow with us
and alone after death,
our consciousness
will still have with it the shadow of our actions, good and bad
By the time we are just about to enter the bardo
the intermediate state between death and birth
it will be far too late to begin our Dharma practice.
But if we have already prepared ourselves, if we feel confident in our practice
and know how to go to a Buddha-field, there will

be no suffering in death💞🎵📚🗝️🎵🌳🙏Dilgo Khyentse Rinpoche
