Will we end up dating?

There is a friend that I've lost touch with. We went out a few times in the past, he made his interest very well known but I wasn't ready to date at that time. I've been thinking about him lately and I was wondering if I contact him would we end up dating romantically. The timing is much better for me, not sure about him. I think he's still single..

As for the chart I see that I'm Venus, he's Mars. I see that we are about to sextile but the sun perfects a square first...Can someone help me out here? I'd really appreciate it and will be sure to update. Thanks!

Why not? Can't the obstacle be overcome? The Moon will conjunct Mars.
