Many days I feel confident but I am often swept away by my powerful emotions especially involving sensitivity and unworthiness. I don't know how to sort myself out and I want to know if this clears as I age or what methods I can utilize to help overcome this. Any other advice or comments is so greatly appreciated. Thank you!

There are a few aspects possible in a chart that I think of as the "It hurts to be you" aspects. You do have some, but it is possible to rethink how they operate in your life, and to implement some positive steps.

Saturn square moon, moon conjunct Pluto. Saturn often shows where we feel inadequate and not good-enough. The moon rules your feelings. Particularly with it conjunct Pluto, you are apt to spend time in your subconscious. Rationally your life might be going fine, but emotionally you feel pulled down.

Sun square Chiron. Chiron is a little planetoid that shows us "where it hurts." These hurts don't heal, but if we stay open to them, they can confer a lot of wisdom and compassion for other people. The sun is your identity, or sense of self.

Venus square Neptune can give you lovely idealism and a beautiful imagination, but when ordinary reality isn't as good as you hoped, it can leave you feeling bitterly disappointed. This is reinforced by the "sudden change" nature of Uranus also squaring Venus.

Saturn also rules self-discipline. So think about how you might discipline (Saturn) your feelings (moon) when you get into dark (Pluto) moods. A few sessions with a counselor might help to develop some techniques that you could practice.

Have you ever had a mental health evaluation? Sometimes these overwhelming feelings have a physical cause, and you can't just think or discipline yourself out of them. You might ask your doctor for a referral to a mental health specialist, just to gain clarity.

One other thing that occurs to me, is that with your sun, Mercury, and Venus in Aries, you kind of need to be the Woman Warrior in your life. Many women are trained from an early age to be sweet and deferential, but part of you needs an outlet for your more assertive Aries energy. Have you got some way to express Aries, like a high impact sport? Mars rules Aries and athletics, so picking up some kind of water-based sport (like an Aqua-fit class if you're a non-swimmer) might do wonders for your Pisces Mars.

Otherwise, part of you will be living with that despair, of not being true to your out-of-the-box nature. If you are behaving like an Aries now, that is super. Just going out for a good run (or its equivalent, like a power walk or session at the gym) should be helpful.

Oh thank you so much for your time and thoughtfulness in your reply. I resonate so much with what you said. And no wonder that I feel so much more stable mentally when I am doing consistent exercise! Thank you so much!!!

9th house Mars

so you may thrive on practising Mindfulness Meditation
there are usually free classes available in most cities

important to identify your most active planet
because
"powerlessness" relative to natal planets
is dependent on a natal planets ability to act
i.e.

planets that are STRONGLY PLACED have ability to act
but
UNLESS a strongly placed planet
has SUFFICIENT RESOURCES
then
that planet cannot do much - even if strongly placed

HOW PLANETS ARE ASSESSED AS BEING STRONGLY PLACED OR NOT

Most students are aware that houses are defined as:

ANGULAR = 1st, 4th, 7th & 10th
SUCCEDENT = 2nd, 5th, 8th, & 11th

and

CADENT = 3rd, 6th, 9th & 12th
as shown in the diagram below

ang.gif
The houses are not all equal in strength and power.
If a planet is located in an angular house
it is much more forceful in its effects
than it would be in a cadent house.
On page 48 of Christian Astrology Lilly writes:
The angles are most powerful
the succeedents are next in virtue
the cadents poor, and of little efficacy:

the succeedent houses follow the angles
the cadents come next [after] the succeedents.

In force and virtue they stand so in order:
1 10 7 4 11 5 9 3 2 8 6 12
The meaning whereof is this

that two planets equally dignified
the one in the Ascendant
the other in the tenth house
you shall judge the planet in the Ascendant somewhat of more power
to effect what he is significator of, than he that is in the tenth:

do so in the rest as they stand in order
remembering that planets in angles do more forcibly show their effects.

http://www.skyscript.co.uk/horary1d.html

clearly then:
House placement of a planet affects it's ability to act
a planet with no ability to act is aka powerless
sometimes another planet helps out by providing resources
but only if that other planet has sufficient resources of its own
and

ESSENTIAL DIGNITY is what determines whether a planet has sufficient resources to act

ANGULAR PLANTS are strongly PLACED for the ability to act
but
UNLESS any strongly placed planet
has SUFFICIENT RESOURCES with which to act
then
that planet cannot do much - even if strongly placed

when your natal chart shows several strongly placed angular planets
in order to obtain a clearer perspective
consider creating your chart using WHOLE SIGN HOUSES
because Placidus is simply the default
then note your most angular planets

Hello marygrace,

you are in fact a very high-sensitive person - and very sensitive about meeting people - feeling a lot of them and their problems (even in your own body) and feel a lot more than other people do - even if they don't tell you a word.

Your moon as your rising ruler is in scorpio conjuncted by pluto and moon is in exact sextile with your neptune/uranus conjunct.

I think that your feeling unworthy- is a) due to your chiron in 2nd house- a physical body house - setting boundaries and also selfesteem- and with chiron in - this area is "wounded" from an experience or feeling, that you have no "right to exist".

And b) doubled and intensified by your moon pluto conjunct in 5th house -life energy and father experience in childhood. What shows with locked scorpio in - a difficult father experience - where you might have felt/been rejected from and feel yourself as not wanted by him (and your mother had to fight for your birth against your father - mercury/trine chiron).

Also shows a father who was probably also not accepted in your familiy - with moon/pluto square to saturn as ruler of 8th house- ancestor bloodline and genetic inheritance. Because your father was a person very much different from other people.

What you possibly took over from him subconsciously and feel yourself guilty for- even if you are not. Or others in your famliy make you responsible for him and his behaviour in your famliy and environement and attack you for it. Saturn in 8th house is in semisextile with mars in 9th house (also grandparents) and in semisextile with uranus/neptune conj. in your 7th.

First help you can give yourself is - to be aware that not all you feel inside you does autmatically belong to you or is caused by youl. Be aware, that you are able to take over problems from other people and that you have to first sort out every day - what really belongs to you and what is other person's luggage and doesn't belong to you.

With moon as ruler of 2nd house- it is difficult for you to really"shut your doors" to have a free space of your own where you can find a rest and be alone.

You are always expecting to be and to get in physical danger, what - once experienced as true - easily get's into a self-fullfilling prophecy and self-sabotage-programme with moon/pluto conj. - as you are continously looking out for it,d to come true again.

Transiting saturn is still conj. your neptune/uranus conj., semisextling your 8th house saturn and sextiling your moon to support you to clarify and to find out - what is really true for you.
