Would love to know more about the mystic rectangle. Two oppositions and two sextiles. Do the sextiles enable the oppositions to wrk out their differences?
Recently I was interested in the Rosetta picture and found a book that gives a description of some of the more obscure aspect pictures. It's called "Aspect Patterns in Color" by Joyce Hopewell. She does not give lengthy descriptions, but I think what she says is interesting. It's inexpensive as a Kindle download. I haven't been through it all.
She calls the Mystic Rectangle a "Righteous Rectangle". She says that the oppositions keep the issue inside of a person. The sextiles don't offer a way out because they just connect with the oppositions. It's a closed system. So, it forces us to work on whatever it is representing for us. In my opinion, if you are someone who does inner work, it is a good thing, as it will help you grow in the matter that it represents. Of course, if you don't like to do inner work, then I suppose it could feel like something needs to be resolved by remains unresolved - or the person compensates for it another way. I have not personally dealt with a mystic rectangle in my own chart.
