Relationships and Peace

A boy and a girl were playing together. The boy
had a collection of marbles. The girl had some
sweets with her. The boy told the girl that he
will give her all his marbles in exchange for her
sweets. The girl agreed.
The boy kept the biggest and the most beautiful
marble aside and gave the rest to the girl. The
girl gave him all her sweets as she had promised.

That night, the girl slept peacefully. But the boy
couldn't sleep as he kept wondering if the girl
had hidden some sweets from him the way he had
hidden his best marble.
Moral of the story: If you don't give your hundred
percent in a relationship, you'll always keep
doubting if the other person has given his/her
hundred percent.. This is applicable for any
relationship like love, friendship,
employer-employee relationship etc., Give your
hundred percent to everything you do and sleep
peacefully .

The story sound so childish....so nice and pure...

Very true~! Do we let that change our methods with the next one? (When one holds something back) I don't think so. I think it's ALWAYS worth giving your all. That's where the rewards come.

good observation!!!!!the question is that how often do we meet people who give their all ????

Actually, I think I always give my all in romantic relationships. It makes the hurts hurt more but I tell myself when I find the right one that it will have been worth it. Otherwise, why even try?

Who of us takes a mediocre job or gets purposely into a mediocre relationship? I don't think ANY of us dreams of wanting to settle.

one more on honesty in relations :

a couple die and are not allowed into heaven.
God asks whats their sin? why are they not allowed in..
gatekeeper at heaven says "they go out of home for sex every friday night"
"so whats wrong in it ? they might have tried a new place on fridays" says god.
"Yeah they tried, but they didn't knew who might return first, so they left the key in mailbox"

The husband says to his wife, "You always carry my photo in your handbag to the office. Why?"

She says, "When there is a problem, no matter how impossible, I look at your picture and the problem disappears."

He smirks and replies, "You see, how miraculous and powerful I am for you?"

She calmly replies, "Yes, I see your picture and say to myself, 'What other problem can there be greater than this one?'"

A woman awakes during the night to find that her husband was not in their bed.

She puts on her robe and goes downstairs to look for him. She finds him sitting at the kitchen table with a cup of coffee in front him. He appears deep in thought, just staring at the wall. She watches as he wipes a tear from his eye and takes a sip of coffee.

"What's the matter, dear?" she whispers as she steps into the room. "Why are you down here at this time of night?"

The husband looks up, "Do you remember 20 years ago when we were dating, and
you were only 17?" he asks solemnly.

The wife is touched thinking her husband is so caring and sensitive. "Yes, I do," she replies.

The husband pauses. The words are not coming easily. "Do you remember when
you father caught us in the back seat of my car?"

"Yes, I remember," says the wife, lowering herself into a chair beside him.

The husband continues..."Do you remember when he shoved a shotgun in my face and said, "Either you marry my daughter, or I will send you to jail for 20 years".
"I remember that too", she replies softly.

He wipes another tear from his cheek and says... "I would have gotten out today!"

difference between a friend and a lover

a boy knows he is going 2 die within 5 mins,
so he msg's his lover and his best friend "goodbye"
within 2 mins he got a message from his lover..
"where r u going dear, i am busy.... I can't come so go without me".
The boy's heart began 2 pain..
Within a sec he got a msg from his friend...
"where the hell r u going without me you stupid!"
the boy smiles, his eyes close, his heart stops..and thats friendship..!
